TL;DR: In this paper, the correction extent of unbalanced mass and lessen the vibration of a rotor by setting the height of a cylinder in the axial direction to be within a specified range of the times as long as the ball diameter or longer was proposed to arrange two rows of balls in zigzag arrangement at high speed rotation.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge the correction extent of unbalanced mass and lessen the vibration of a rotor by setting the height of a cylinder in the axial direction to be within a specified range of the times as long as the ball diameter or longer and setting the height of the cylinder to be sufficient to arrange two rows of balls in zigzag arrangement at high speed rotation. SOLUTION: A female screw 28 to be fixed while the center being conformed to the rotation axis is installed in the center of a balancer body 20 and a balancer cover 26 having a ventilation hole 29 is fixed in the upper part of a stopping part 25 by stopping screws 27. The distance of the stopping part 25 in an upper part of the position 23 at which the diameter of a barrel shape cylinder 22 is the maximum from the bottom 24 in the lower side of the position 23 of the maximum diameter is made wide enough to arrange balls 21 in zigzag arrangement. In other words, the distance from the bottom 24 to the stopping part 25 is set to be at least about 1.4-2 times as long as the diameter of the balls 21. Consequently, the correction extent of unbalanced mass at the time of high speed rotation can be set wide and the vibration of a rotor can be suppressed and a centrifugal separator with a long life can be obtained.

TL;DR: In this paper, a damping body providing power to a power transmission system at all times is engaged on a suitable position in the transmission system to prevent the point of engagement from being separated.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce gear noises in a gear driving equipment by a method wherein a damping body providing power to a power transmission system at all times is engaged on a suitable position in the power transmission system. CONSTITUTION:A shock force tends to separate a point of engagement of a smaller gear 2 with a larger gear 6, but a damping body 10 gives a damping force to a rotating shaft 5 of the larger gear 6 which is a driven gear, and prevents the point of the engagement from being separated. Further, when a gear driving device rotates in a normal state, the damping body can also restrain chatterings in which the separations and collisions of the engaging point are repeatedly caused by various errors of gears. That is, a collision at the engaging point of the smaller gear 2 with the larger gear 6 gives rise to a fluctuation in the larger gear 6 in the turning angular velocity within a range of an angle corresponding to back rash, but in this case changes in the turning angular velocity are supressed and an occurrence of chatterings are prevented by virtue of the damping force of the damping body 10.

TL;DR: In this paper, a shutter 40 is disconnected from a connecting part cooperatively with the removal of a cleaner unit 17 when the cleaner unit is removed from a body, and the shutter is then energized by a spring 39 and is slid in an arrow mark A direction to cover the waste toner discharge port in the lower part at the left end of an auger pipe 37.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a waste toner transporting pipe from hindering the attachment and detachment of a cleaning device and to prevent the spill of waste toners from the waste toner transporting pipe by turnably supporting a developer transporting device around the neighborhood of the cleaning device. CONSTITUTION:A shutter 40 is disconnected from a connecting part cooperatively with the removal of a cleaner unit 17 when the cleaner unit is removed from a body. The shutter is then energized by a spring 39 and is slid in an arrow mark A direction to cover the waste toner discharge port in the lower part at the left end of an auger pipe 37. A second auger 33 and connecting pipe 35 are then rotated 30 deg. in an arrow mark D direction around the connecting point of the connecting pipe 35 and the cleaner unit 17. The second auger 33 is rotated 90 deg. in an arrow mark E direction around the connecting point of the connecting pipe 35 and the connecting part 36 in such a manner that the axial line of the second auger 33 parallels with the cleaner unit 17. As a result, the second auger 33 is eventually aligned to the lower part of the cleaner unit 17 in parallel with the longitudinal direction thereof. The cleaner unit 17 is mounted by reverse procedures.
