Journal ArticleDOI

The immobilization of penicillin G acylase on chitosan.

TL;DR: The conclusion is that the dissociation of the cofactor can be avoided if the immobilization step is carried out at high concentration of enzyme which is favourable to its polymerization.
Journal ArticleDOI

An Enantioselective Chemoenzymatic Synthesis of the Four 1-Amino 2-Methylcyclopropane Carboxylic Acids

TL;DR: Racemic 2-methylcyclopropane dicarboxylic acid dimethyl ester undergoes selective enzymatic reactions to give enantiomerically pure monocarboxyl acids which by classical organic chemistry lead to the four 1-amino 2 -methyl cycloproane carboxyslic acids as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Resolution of Solketal by Enzymatic Hydrolysis of Its Decanoyl Ester

TL;DR: In this article, (S) and (R)-solketal useful synthetic intermediates were prepared from the corresponding racemic decanoyl ester by an enantioselective hydrolysis mediated by porcine pancreas lipase in presence of acetonitrile.
