A systematic review of salivary gland hypofunction and xerostomia induced by cancer therapies: prevalence, severity and impact on quality of life
Siri Beier Jensen,Anne Marie Lynge Pedersen,Arjan Vissink,Elo Andersen,C. G. Brown,Andrew Davies,J. Dutilh,Janet S. Fulton,Ljiljana Janković,Nilza Nelly Fontana Lopes,A. L. S. Mello,L. V. Muniz,C. A. Murdoch-Kinch,Raj G. Nair,Joel J. Napeñas,A. Nogueira-Rodrigues,Deborah P. Saunders,B. Stirling,I. von Bültzingslöwen,Dianna Weikel,Linda S. Elting,Frederik Spijkervet,Michael T. Brennan +22 more
TL;DR: Salivary gland hypofunction and xerostomia are induced by radiotherapy in the head and neck region depending on the cumulative radiation dose to the gland tissue, and treatment focus should be on optimized/new approaches to further reduce the doses to the parotids.
Journal ArticleDOI
A systematic review of salivary gland hypofunction and xerostomia induced by cancer therapies: management strategies and economic impact
Siri Beier Jensen,Anne Marie Lynge Pedersen,Arjan Vissink,Elo Andersen,Carlton G. Brown,Andrew Davies,J. Dutilh,Janet S. Fulton,Ljiljana Janković,Nilza Nelly Fontana Lopes,A. L. S. Mello,L. V. Brennan,Salivary Gland Hypofunction,Xerostomia Section +24 more
TL;DR: There is evidence that salivary gland hypofunction and xerostomia induced by cancer therapies can be prevented or symptoms be minimized to some degree, depending on the type of cancer treatment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Development of Radiomic-Based Model to Predict Clinical Outcomes in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Patients Treated with Immunotherapy
Olena Tankyevych,Flora Trousset,Claire Latappy,Moran Berraho,J. Dutilh,Jean-Pierre Tasu,Corinne Lamour,Catherine Cheze Le Rest +7 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors used delta-radiomics and radiomics features extracted from baseline and follow-up PET/CT images to predict outcome in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients treated with immunotherapy and identify patients who would benefit from this new standard.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sirolimus-Induced Pulmonary Alveolar Proteinosis in the Context of Hematopoietic Stem Cells Transplant Rejection: A Case Report.
TL;DR: In this article , the authors describe a case of pulmonary alveolar proteinosis secondary to sirolimus treating graft-versus-host reaction in a patient who received a stem cell transplant for chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tracheobronchopathia osteochondroplastica: clinical, bronchoscopic, and comorbid features in a case series
Antoine Dumazet,C. Launois,François Lebargy,Romain Kessler,H. Vallerand,P. Schmitt,Christophe Hermant,Sandra Dury,Maxime Dewolf,J. Dutilh,Maher Abouda,M. de L. G. TL;DR: In this paper , the authors describe TO features and associated comorbidities in a series of patients and evaluate the stability of lesions in all cases, and show that the diagnosis of TO relies on typical bronchoscopic findings and can be evoked on CT scan.
