Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this paper, the hexagonal compound DyMn 6 Ge 6 has been studied by neutron diffraction at various temperatures between T N = 420 K and 11 K and the phase transition at about 100 K is shown to be of second order and marks the transition from a triple flat spiral structure stable at high temperatures to a triple conical structure stable in low temperatures.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the high temperature region, T > Tt = 35 K, the tilted spiral becomes destabilised and the two sublattices become weakly coupled.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this paper, the magnetic ordering of the hexagonal compound TbMn 6 Ge 6 has been studied by neutron diffraction at various temperatures between 1.8 and 500 K. The observed reentrant ferrimagnetism is in agreement with results of previously reported magnetic measurements.

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that LuMn6Ge6 of the HfFe6G6-type of structure (P6/mmm) orders antiferromagnetically below TN = 509 K.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, the magnetic phase diagrams of TbMn 6 Ge 6 and DyMn6 Ge 6 have been deduced from magnetisation measurements of powder samples and the assumption of spiral spin structures at low temperatures in these compounds has been confirmed.

TL;DR: In this paper, the HfFe6Ge6-type ScMn6Ge 6−xGax and YMn 6Ge6−XGax solid solution (0.3≤x≤1.6) have been studied by magnetization measurements, microprobe analysis and powder neutron diffraction.
