Antiferromagnetic Ordering and Structural Characterization of the Brown Colored R2BaCoO5 Oxides (R = Rare Earth)

TL;DR: The X-ray diffraction data reveal that they crystallize in the Nd 2 BaNiO 5 structural type (space group Immm), and the existence of dimorphism has been shown for R = Dy, Ho, Er, and Tm.
Journal ArticleDOI

Characterization and magnetic properties of the new green-coloured R2BaCoO5 oxides (R DyLu and Y)

TL;DR: In this article, a new R2BaCoO5 compounds with R  Dy, Er, Tm and Lu have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray powder diffraction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dimorphism and magnetic properties of Dy2BaCoO5

TL;DR: In this paper, a green Dy 2 BaCoO 5 oxide has been prepared at 1300 °C in an argon flow and X-ray diffraction data reveal that it crystallizes with the Sm 2 BaCuO 5 structure type, space group Pnma and lattice parameters a = 12.3375(4) A, b = 5.7250(2) A and c = 7.0880(2)-A.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, polymorphism and magnetic properties of novel Tb2BaMoO5 (MCo, or Ni) oxides

TL;DR: Tb 2 BaMo 5 oxides with MCo or Ni have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray powder diffraction as discussed by the authors, which is a dimorphic compound and crystallizes in two different orthorhombic structures.
