Rosato,F. Saint-Laurent,J.C. Steckmeyer,B. Tamain,L. Tassan-Got,E. Vient,J.P. Wieleczko +39 more
TL;DR: Multifragmentation of a "fused system" was observed for central collisions between 32 MeV/nucleon 129Xe and (nat)Sn and the resulting charged products were well identified due to the high performances of the INDRA 4pi array.
Journal ArticleDOI
Response of CsI(Tl) scintillators over a large range in energy and atomic number of ions. Part I: recombination and δ-electrons
M. Pârlog,Bernard Borderie,M.F. Rivet,G. Tabacaru,A. Chbihi,M. Elouardi,N. Le Neindre,O. Lopez,E. Plagnol,L. Tassan-Got,G. Auger,Ch.O. Bacri,N. Bellaize,F. Bocage,R. Bougault,Bertrand Bouriquet,R. Wieleczko +50 more
TL;DR: In this article, a simple formalism describing the light response of CsI(Tl) to heavy ions, which quantifies the luminescence and the quenching in terms of the competition between radiative transitions following the carrier trapping at the Tl activator sites and the electron-hole recombination, is proposed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Wieleczko +50 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an analytical expression for the non-linear total light response as a function of the energy and the identity of the ion is developed, which depends on four parameters: energy, atomic number of incident ions, energy and identity of ion.
Journal ArticleDOI

N. Bellaize,O. Lopez,J.P. Wieleczko,D. Cussol,G. Auger,Ch.O. Bacri,F. Bocage,Bernard Borderie,R. Bougault,Bertrand Bouriquet,R. Brou,Ph. Buchet,A. Buta,J.L. Charvet,A. Chbihi,J. Colin,R. Dayras,N. Tabacaru,B. Tamain,A. Van Lauwe,L. Tassan-Got,E. Vient,Mariano Vigilante,C. Volant +55 more
TL;DR: In this article, the influence of the entrance channel mass asymmetry upon the fragmentation process is addressed by studying heavy-ion induced reactions around the Fermi energy, and an event selection method called the Principal Component Analysis is presented and discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
