High-Altitude Pulmonary Edema in Colorado Children: A Cross-Sectional Survey and Retrospective Review.
TL;DR: The most common radiographic pattern seen in pediatric HAPE is pulmonary edema that favors the right lung and upper lobes, and after an initial HAPE presentation, some children will experience additional HAPE episodes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Chest computed tomography findings of ground-glass nodules with enhancing central vessel/nodule in pediatric patients with BMPR2 mutations and plexogenic arteriopathy
TL;DR: All of the authors' patients with BMPR2 mutations demonstrated a distinct CT pattern of ground-glass nodules with a prominent central enhancing vessel/nodule, which correlated well with the pathological findings of plexogenic arteriopathy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Jose Diaz-Miron,Marina Reppucci,J.P. Weinman,Alexander M. Kaizer,Aparna Annam,Jonathan Orsborn,Lauren Steward,Juliana Wilson,Denis D. Bensard +8 more
TL;DR: The use of lung ultrasound for diagnosis of COVID-19 has emerged during the pandemic as a beneficial diagnostic modality due to its rapid availability, bedside use, and lack of radiation as mentioned in this paper .
Journal ArticleDOI
Computed Tomographic Angiography provides Reliable Coronary Artery Evaluation in Infants with Pulmonary Atresia Intact Ventricular Septum.
Ladonna Malone,Lorna P. Browne,Gareth J. Morgan,Mark A. Lovell,David N. Campbell,James Jaggers,Ryan Leahy,Max B. Mitchell,David A. Mong,J.P. Weinman,Jenny E. Zablah,Matthew L. Stone +11 more
TL;DR: The findings suggest that coronary CTA is reliable as first line imaging for determination of RVDCC in neonates with PA IVS and many reserve invasive coronary angiography for cases with diagnostic uncertainty or at the time of necessary transcatheter interventions.
