Adiabatic decomposition of mass‐selected alkali clusters

TL;DR: In this article, the decomposition of metastable photoionized mass-selected alkali clusters was investigated using a tandem time-of-flight spectrometer and the predominant fragmentation channels were found to follow the adiabatic dissociation channels associated with the lowest energies accordingly to their CI calculations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Photoionization of potassium clusters: Neutral and ionic cluster stabilities

TL;DR: In this article, neutral and ionized potassium clusters were photoionized at different ionizing energies to obtain variations of ion mass spectral patterns reflecting either neutral or ionic stabilities.
Journal ArticleDOI

Photodissociation of size‐selected K+n clusters

TL;DR: In this paper, a photofragmentation study for size-selected ionized potassium-atom clusters, generated in a supersonic expansion and analyzed with a tandem time-of-flight system, is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Laser ionization spectra and electronic structure of Kn and NaKn−1 clusters

TL;DR: In this article, photoionization of small K n and NaK n −1 clusters with n ⩽ 34 has been achieved in a crossed laser-molecular-beam experiment.
Journal ArticleDOI

Coulombic fission and evaporation of antimony cluster ions

TL;DR: The preferential dissociation channels of singly and doubly charged antimony clusters have been determined from the unimolecular dissociation of energy rich cluster ions, using an ion stopping technique.
