Journal ArticleDOI
Concordance of the toxicity of pharmaceuticals in humans and in animals.
Harry Olson,Graham Betton,Denise Robinson,Karluss Thomas,A.M. Monro,Gerald Kolaja,Patrick D. Lilly,James E. Sanders,Glenn Sipes,William Bracken,Michael A. Dorato,Koen Van Deun,Peter Smith,Bruce Berger,Allen H. Heller +14 more
TL;DR: The survey results support the value of in vivo toxicology studies to predict for many significant HTs associated with pharmaceuticals and have helped to identify HT categories that may benefit from improved methods.
Journal ArticleDOI
Subchronic toxicity studies with the leukotriene D4 antagonist RG 12525.
Marc S. Bonnefoi,Michael F. Kelley,Roger E. Wells,James E. Sanders,Zaid Jayyosi,Eric Beys,Douglas J. Kornbrust,John M. Langloss +7 more
TL;DR: Repeated administration of RG 12525 at high doses to female rats resulted in a lack of progression to the luteal phase of the estrous cycle that was reversible after discontinuation of treatment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cataractogenesis in rats induced by in utero exposure to RG 12915, a 5-HT3 antagonist.
S. A. Lerman,J. L. Delongeas,J. P. Plard,R. W. Veneziale,Robert L. Clark,Lionel F. Rubin,James E. Sanders +6 more
TL;DR: Maternally toxic doses of this serotonergic agent during gestation produced cataracts in the offspring and it is suggested that the sensitive period for cataract induction by RG 12915 may be close to Gestational Day 15.
