TL;DR: In this paper, the Synchroscan streak camera system was used to examine the temperature dependence of the fluorescence decay of trans-Stilbene between ‐10 and 30°C.
Abstract: The Synchroscan streak camera system has been used to examine the temperature dependence of the fluorescence decay of trans‐Stilbene between ‐10 and 30 °C. Two components of the fluorescence have been detected; a short one varying between 125 and 64 psec over the range and a much weaker longer one varying from 690 to 1450 psec. The presence of the longer component may indicate a return to the transgeometry following initial photoisomerization.

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of malachite green to the saturable absorber of a CW Rhodamine 6G dye laser has been investigated and it has been suggested that this result could be due to the resonance transfer of excited electronic state energy between DODCI and malachITE green.

TL;DR: The use of a continuous carbon-impregnated epoxy resistive material is investigated for the elimination of fringe fields in a cylindrical-mirror photoelectron energy analyzer to permit close coupling between the source inlet and the analyzer slits.
Abstract: The use of a continuous carbon‐impregnated epoxy resistive material is investigated for the elimination of fringe fields in a cylindrical‐mirror photoelectron energy analyzer. This fringe correction approach permits close coupling between the source inlet and the analyzer slits.
