Corilagin prevents SARS-CoV-2 infection by targeting RBD-ACE2 binding.

TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper characterized an active compound, corilagin derived from Phyllanthus urinaria as potential SARS-CoV-2 entry inhibitors for its possible preventive application in daily anti-virus hygienic products.
Journal ArticleDOI

Computational and experimental insights on the interaction of artemisinin, dihydroartemisinin and chloroquine with SARS-CoV-2 spike protein receptor-binding domain (RBD).

TL;DR: In this paper, the interaction of artemisinin, its metabolites and chloroquine with the receptor-binding domain (RBD) was investigated using computational tools and in-vitro simulations.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Drug Repurposing Approach for Antimalarials Interfering with SARS-CoV-2 Spike Protein Receptor Binding Domain (RBD) and Human Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme 2 (ACE2).

TL;DR: In this article, computational and experimental techniques were combined to screen antimalarial compounds from different chemical classes, with the aim of identifying small molecules interfering with the RBD-ACE2 interaction and, consequently, with cell invasion.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, computational docking and biological evaluation of celastrol derivatives as dual inhibitors of SERCA and P-glycoprotein in cancer therapy.

TL;DR: A series of eleven dipeptide celastrol derivatives were designed, synthesized, and evaluated for their in vitro cytotoxic activities against six human cancer cell lines (A549, HepG2, HepAD38, PC3, DLD-1 Bax-Bak WT and DKO) and three human normal cells (LO2, BEAS-2B, CCD19Lu) as mentioned in this paper.
