Pembelajaran jarak jauh adalah salah satu alternatif model pembelajaran di masa pandemi Covid-19. Sebagai sesuatu yang baru, model pembelajaran jarak jauh harus disosialisasikan dan dilatihkan bagi guru-guru terutama guru di sekolah dasar. Karena itu,tim pengabdian masyarakat melakukan kegiatan pengabdian di Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT) DOD Medan dengan melaksanakan pelatihan pembelajaran jarak jauh bagi guru-guru. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini, guru-guru SDIT DOD Medan diberikan pemahaman untuk menerima situasi sulit ini dan mampu beradaptasi dalam melakukan pembelajaran di masa pandemic Covid-19. Selain itu, guru-guru juga dilatih dalam mendisain perencanaan pembelajaran yang ringkas serta pengelolaan pembelajaran jarak jauh baik secara luar jaringan maupun dalam jaringan, dilatih membangun Learning Management System (LMS) di sekolah, dan dilatih memaksimalkan sistem dukungan orangtua dalam mendungkung moda PJJ di sekolah selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa guru-guru SDIT DOD Medan mampu membuka diri dan mau beradaptasi dengan situasi Covid-19 serta mampu mendisain pembelajaran jarak jauh baik luar jaringan maupun dalam jaringan,sekolah membangun Learning Management System (LMS), dan sekolah mendapatkan dukungan orangtua dalam pembelajaran di masa pandemi Covid-19. Berdasarkan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini, sebagai tindak lanjut, diharapkan kepada pemangku kebijakan dan lembaga terkait untuk ambil bagian dalam melakukan kegiatan pendampingan dan dukungan terhadap guru-guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran sekaligus melakukan monitoring dan evaluasi terhadap proses pembelajaran selama pandemi Covid-19.

Access to extensive learning resources for students gives the room for lecturers to move from lecturer centered learning to student centered learning. This can be implemented in learning based on blended learning using the google classroom application that integrates online learning outside the classroom and face to face in the classroom. With the internet that provides various learning management systems such as Google Classroom, teachers can create virtual classes to carry out online learning outside the classroom so that students are accustomed to learning actively and independently in learning. This study aims to describe the learning process of blended learning, assess student learning outcomes, find out the differences in learning outcomes of male and female students, and assess student responses. This research uses descriptive method to take the subject of material science subjects in the vocational education program of FT-UNM mechatronics, which amounted to 36 students. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, tests, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques in the form of descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed the learning process was in the very good category, student learning outcomes were in the moderate category, there were differences in learning outcomes between male and female students, and student responses were in the very high category.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan strategi blended learning pada perkuliahan Biologi Dasar dalam bentuk media pembelajaran online. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian deskrptif dengan pendekatan R & D. Pengembangan produk  berupa e-learning dilakukan dengan mengacu pada model instruksional ADDIE. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Jurusan Biologi FMIPA UNM  tahun akademik 2018/2019 pada mata kuliah Biologi Dasar. Data dikumpul dengan menggunakan lembar validasi dan angket . Data penelitian dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian diperoleh media  e-learning mata kuliah Biologi Dasar yang telah divalidasi. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa blended learning mata kuliah Biologi Dasar memenuhi kriteri validitas dengan kategori sangat valid dan praktis dengan alamat laman www.muhiddin.web.id . Dari hasil penelitian tersebut,disarankan kepada dosen-dosen agar dapat menggunakan e-learning dalam perkuliahan.

Pengembangan strategi blended-learning pada perkuliahan biologi dasar

Multimedia sangat dibutuhkan dalam proses pembelajaran khususnya bagi guru. Peran gurumerupakan kunci utama dalam pengelolaan proses pembelajaran dikelas. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk mempermudah para guru untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran daring. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan dalam pelatihan pada kegiatan ini meliputi ceramah bervariasi dan latihan atau praktek. Hasil pelatihan yang akan dicapai berupa persepsi guru menjadi lebih leluasa memilih model, metode, maupun media yang di terapkan di masa pembelajaran daring melalui media pembelajaran online google classroom . Sebelum diberikan pelatihan, guru-guru SD Negeri 091316 Kabupaten Simalungun 100% belum pernah mengunakan media pembelajaran online google classroom , namun setelah pelatihan pembelajaran daring yang diberikan, para guru merasa bahwa dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran online google classroom dapat mempermudah proses penyampaian materi dalam proses pembelajaran.  Hasilnya seluruh guru-guru SD Negeri 091316 Kabupaten Simalungun setuju bahwa Google Classroom memuaskan dalam penggunaannya guna mendukung proses berjalannya pembelajaran daring.

Peningkatan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas v dengan pembelajaran kontekstual pada madrasah ibtidaiyah

In distance learning, the role of technology is needed to be able to connect with one another. One of the learning media that can be used for distance learning is Google Classroom. Mastery of technology and information for teachers at SMAN 1 Sibabangun, Central Tapanuli Regency is very necessary in this distance learning. The effort that must be made by a teacher in providing distance learning is to create media such as Google Classroom. Through Google Classroom, teachers can create classes for teaching and learning activities and students can take classes. In this training, teachers can give assignments, provide assessments of student assignments, import learning materials, and also make quizzes for students. The result of the service carried out is that the teacher is able to make learning media using google classroom so that distance learning can run more effectively. With the dedication that is carried out, it can realize the vision and mission of the SMAN 1 Sibabangun school, Central Tapanuli Regency. The results of the questionnaire from this community service activity are very good at 42.94%, good at 48.89%, enough at 7.6%, less at 0.55%, and very poor at 0.01%.

Distance Learning Training with Google Classrom at SMAN 1 Sibabangun Regency Central Tapanuli

This study aims to determine whether learning through a contextual approach with PowerPoint media can improve student biology learning outcomes on the subject of the Ecosystem. The study was conducted at Sibabangun Public High School 1. The population in this study were all senior students X SMA 1 Sibabangun which consisted of 3 classes. From the population a sample of 2 classes was determined, namely the experimental class and the control class. Both classes were given different treatment, the experimental class was given teaching through a contextual approach with PowerPoint media, while the control class was given teaching through the lecture method. From the data analysis for the experimental class, post-tests were obtained (83.56 ± 7.54). In the control class, post-test was obtained (68.93 ± 7.82). Both data are normally distributed. From the hypothesis testing obtained thitung = 3.419 and at the significance level α = 0.05 with dk = 58 obtained t table = 1.574. Because tcount> ttable then tcount is in the reception area Ha. This means that learning through a contextual approach with PowerPoint media is better than learning through the lecture method. Learning through contextual approaches with PowerPoint media can improve student biology learning outcomes by 60.31%. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Contextual, PowerPoint

Upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar biologi siswa melalui pendekatan kontekstual dengan media powerpoint

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan dengan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dengan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP N 22 Medan. Dan sampel diambil secara random sampling dimana satu kelas dijadikan sebagai kelas eksperimen I yaitu kelas yang diajar dengan pembelajaran Tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) dan satu kelas lagi dijadikan sebagai kelas eksperimen II yaitu kelas yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimental Design). Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi dan tes. Uji hipotesis dilakukan pada taraf signifikansi I± = 0,05 dengan kriteria pengujian thitung > ttabel. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh thit 4,562 > ttab 3,063. Dengan demikian H0 ditolak sedangkan Ha diterima, berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dan tipe STAD di kelas VIII pada materi sistem organ pada manusia.

Perbedaan Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa Dengan Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) dengan tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) di Kelas VIII

This study uses a qualitative descriptive method that aims to understand the phenomena of elementary mathematics learning outcomes. The resulting data is presented in the form of numbers described in the description. Research using the observation method was conducted on mathematics learning outcomes in grades III and grade V of elementary schools spread across three districts/cities in North Sumatra Province. To understand students' errors and misconceptions is essential for the effective teaching and learning of mathematics. It is important for teachers to approach student mistakes in a constructive way, helping students understand their mistakes and learn from them. Research has been conducted to investigate patterns of student misunderstandings, errors, and misunderstandings across educational systems, grade levels, gender, and time. Several case studies of mathematics subjects in elementary schools in North Sumatra Province became the main focus of the North Sumatra Education Office so that they held improvement and development activities for Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Mathematics subjects in 2022. The conclusion showed that only three grades III fulfilled and 1 class V that meets above the value of 70.
