An extension of PEEC method for magnetic materials modeling in frequency domain

TL;DR: An extension of the PEEC method for magnetic materials modeling in the frequency domain applied on toroidal magnetic inductors with rectangular cross-section is presented in this article, where the influence of magnetic material is modeled by distributions of fictitious magnetic currents and charges existing on the surface of a magnetic body.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ultrafast rotation of magnetically levitated macroscopic steel spheres

TL;DR: The realization of an electrical motor reaching 40 million rpm is reported to explore the underlying physical boundaries of ultrahigh-speed electrical machines and provide insights into the development of future electric drive systems.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Control-oriented modeling and robust control of a three-phase buck+boost PWM rectifier (VRX-4)

TL;DR: The modeling and control of a three-phase, three-switch buck-type rectifier system with integrated boost output stage (VRX-4) is analyzed and the stability of the closed loop system is discussed and the robust operation of the system is verified by measurements on a 5 kW prototype.
