Discursive rationality and the division of labour: How cooperation emerges
TL;DR: In this article, the benefits of the division of labor in market economies are explained by taking into account a different aspect of human reason, namely, discursive rationality, and the authors argue that religious belief in God performs a public function that facilitates human cooperation.
