TL;DR: It is shown that hypermutation localized to small genomic regions, ‘kataegis’, is found in many cancer types, and this results reveal the diversity of mutational processes underlying the development of cancer.

TL;DR: The data suggest that 7–8% of the children in this cohort carry an unambiguous predisposing germline variant and that nearly 50% of paediatric neoplasms harbour a potentially druggable event, which is highly relevant for the design of future clinical trials.
Journal ArticleDOI
Reduced cortical and subcortical volumes in female adolescents with borderline personality disorder.
TL;DR: Adolescents in the early stages of BPD are examined to provide a unique opportunity to investigate which parts of the brain are initially affected by the disorder before confounding factors such as long-term medication or chronicity can mask them.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors conducted a comparative study in a large pediatric cohort, including 191 cases and 97 samples from adults, and found that TP53 mutations are significantly associated with higher incidence of relapse (25 ± 4% versus 6 ± 2%, p-value 0.0002).
Journal ArticleDOI
Follicular lymphoma grade 3B and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma present a histopathological and molecular continuum lacking features of progression/ transformation
TL;DR: Follicular lymphoma grade 3B with and without coexisting diffuse large B-cell lymphoma do not differ for major clinical parameters such as International Prognostic Index, response to immuno-chemotherapy, progression or overall survival.
