The Atomic Layer Deposition of HfO2 and ZrO2 using Advanced Metallocene Precursors and H2O as the Oxygen Source

TL;DR: In this paper, the atomic layer deposition of HfO2 and ZrO2 thin films was investigated using (MeCp)(2)HfMe2, (MCp)2Hf(OMe)(Me), (MECp), 2)ZrMe2 and (Mecp), 3)MecMe2 as precursors at deposition temperatures between 300 and 500 degrees C, with water vapor as the oxygen Source.
Journal ArticleDOI

Identify the Removable Substructure in Carbon Activation

TL;DR: In this paper, the first structure-activation correlation elucidated on the basis of unprecedented comprehensive characterization on carbon activation is reported, which leads to an activation-based design principle of mesoporous carbon.
Journal ArticleDOI

Low cost selective solar absorber coatings : Characteristics of carbon-in-silica synthesized with sol-gel technique

TL;DR: In this paper, the carbon-silica composite films have been fabricated using sol-gel synthesis of silica-carbon precursor composites, followed by carbonization in an inert atmosphere.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fusion of deformed nuclei in the reactions of 76 Ge + 150 Nd and 28 Si + 198 Pt at the Coulomb barrier region

TL;DR: In this article, the authors measured the fission fragments to determine the fusion cross section by taking advantage of the highly fissile character of the Coulomb barrier and showed that there is more than 13 MeV extra-extra-push energy for the system to fuse together when the projectile collides at the tip of the deformed nucleus.
