Abstract: In the performance evaluation and design of communication systems for distributed automation systems the almost realistic modeling of the data traffic of automation devices plays a decisive part. Therefore the real-time communication behaviour of a high-grade automated installation in the discrete manufacturing is evaluated. Selected communication requirements are analysed and transferred to a analytic model. This model finally is validated.

Abstract: Die Erfindung betrifft die Bereitstellung einer Kommunikation in einem Netzwerk, welches ein gemeinsames Ubertragungsmedium mit Mehrfachzugriff aufweist. Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, eine echtzeitfahige Datenkommunikation bereitzustellen, welche die Moglichkeit einer Multi- und/oder Broadcast-Datenubertragung bietet. Dazu wird ein Verfahren zur Bereitstellung einer Kommunikation in einem Netzwerk zur Verfugung gestellt, welches zumindest einen Mehrfachzugriffskanal mit dynamischer Kanalzuordnung aufweist. Das Verfahrten ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zumindest von einer Protokollinstanz die Mehrfachzugriffsprotokoll-Dienste zur Ausfuhrung eines Master/Slave- Ubertragungsverfahrens in Anspruch genommen werden.

Abstract: To the allocation of the first and second addresses to subscriber (A .. F, 1, 2) of a communication network with at least one coupling device (2), at the port end subscriber (A .. F) are connected, to allow in a simple manner, proposed a method in which an assignment of predetermined first addresses to the coupling device (2) and its ports is stored, wherein first of the coupling means (2) detects the second addresses of devices connected to its ports end subscribers (a .. Abstract: Der Einsatz von Funktechnologien im Feldbusbereich stellt eine sinnvolle Erweiterung hinsichtlich Flexibilitat, Ubertragungssicherheit und Kosten dar. Weitere wesentliche Aspekte in der Automatisierungstechnik sind der Determinismus und die Echtzeitfahigkeit des gesamten Feldbussystems. Moderne Funktechnologien bieten auch in diesem Punkt Realisierungsmoglichkeiten, die diesen Anforderungen genugen.
