Journal ArticleDOI
LixCoO2 (0<x<-1): A new cathode material for batteries of high energy density
TL;DR: In this paper, a new system LixCoO2 (0 Li x CoO 2 Li ) is proposed, which shows low overvoltages and good reversibility for current densities up to 4 mA cm−2 over a large range of x.
Journal ArticleDOI
LixCoO2 (0<x≤1): A new cathode material for batteries of high energy density
TL;DR: In this paper, a new system Li x CoO 2 (0 x ⩽1) has been prepared by electrochemical extraction of lithium from the parent LiCoO 2 ordered-rocksalt structure.
Journal ArticleDOI
Impurity levels of iron-group ions in TiO2(II)
TL;DR: In this article, the ESR signals from oxidized, single-crystal TiO2 undoped and doped with V, Cr, Mn or Fe were made both before and after exposure to white light from a tungsten lamp; they revealed a band of states centered at 2.0 eV below the conduction-band edge.
Journal ArticleDOI
Solid-Solution Oxides for Storage-Battery Electrodes
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a mixture of mixed ionic/electronic conductors for use as electrodes in secondary batteries and electrochromic displays, where charge compensation is achieved by a variation of mobile-electron concentration in the host matrix.
Journal ArticleDOI
Lithium-ion-based resistive devices of LiCoO2/LiPON/Cu with ultrathin interlayers of titanium oxide for neuromorphic computing
TL;DR: In this paper , LiCoO2/LiPON/Cu and ultrathin titanium oxide (TiOx) materials are used to demonstrate multi-level resistance changes promising as synaptic plasticity.
