Preparation of crystalline ZnSnO3 from Li2SnO3 by low-temperature ion exchange

TL;DR: In this article, the first polycrystalline zinc stannate (ZnSnO 3 ) was obtained by an ion exchange reaction between solid α-Li 2 SnO 3 (low-temperature modification) and a melt of ZnCl 2.KCl at 350°C for 48h.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesizing nanocrystalline LiMn2O4 by a combustion route

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of fuel content on the purity and morphology of nanocrystalline samples of lithium manganese oxide with cubic spinel structure has been analyzed by combustion of reaction mixtures containing Li(I) and Mn(II) nitrates that operate as oxidisers and sucrose that acts as fuel.
Journal ArticleDOI

The properties of a spinel copper cobaltite prepared at low temperatures and normal pressure

TL;DR: In this paper, the properties of a spinel copper cobaltite obtained by thermal decomposition of mixed nitrates of both metals at 350°C and normal pressure are described.
Journal ArticleDOI

Infrared spectra of Cu(II)-Co(II) mixed hydroxide nitrates

TL;DR: The infrared spectra from 4000 to 50cm −1 of copper(II)-cobalt(II) hydroxide nitrate mixed crystals, Cu x Co 2 − x (OH) 3 NO 3 (0.0 x 3 polarization, decreasing metal-oxygen force constants and weakening of the hydrogen bonds upon substitution of cobalt for copper as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

On the thermal decomposition of the zinc(II) hydroxide chlorides Zn5(OH)8Cl2·H2O and Β-Zn(OH)Cl

TL;DR: In this article, several reaction schemes are proposed to account for thermal decomposition reactions undergone by both zinc hydroxide chlorides and β-Zn(OH)Cl materials.
