The case for a directional dark matter detector and the status of current experimental efforts

S. P. Ahlen, +113 more
TL;DR: The case for a dark matter detector with directional sensitivity was presented at the 2009 CYGNUS workshop on directional dark matter detection, and contributions from theorists and experimental groups in the field as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Direction-sensitive dark matter search results in a surface laboratory

TL;DR: In this paper, a three-dimensional gaseous tracking device and a direction-sensitive dark matter search were performed in a surface laboratory. And they obtained a sky map drawn with the recoil directions of the carbon and fluorine nuclei, and set the first limit on the spin-dependent WIMP (Weakly Interacting Massive Particles)-proton cross section by a direction sensitive method.
Journal ArticleDOI

CANGAROO III Observations of the Supernova Remnant RX J0852.0–4622

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors confirmed the HESS results about the morphology and the energy spectrum of the supernova supernova remnant RX J0852.0-4622 and found that energy spectrum in the NW rim is consistent with that of the whole remnant.
