Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid-leak detecting body by which the leak of a liquid can be detected immediately. SOLUTION: In this liquid-leak detecting body, a sheet material 9 which is arranged in the lower part of a transfer tube 2 is provided, and a thin foillike conductive passage 10 which is arranged on the sheet material 9 is provided. The sheet material 9 is formed of a polyethylene resin which has an electric insulating property and which can be melted when a high-temperature liquid 1 such as a molten salt or the like is brought into contact. The conductive passage 10 is formed by transferring or vapor-depositing a metal. When the high-temperature liquid 1 which is leaked in the coupling part or the like of the transfer tube 2 is dropped onto the sheet material 9, the sheet material 9 is fused, the conductive passage 10 is broken down, and the electrification of a current for detection is cut off.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate the revision of a switch, to automatically set a circuit, to simplify operation and reduce a cost by discriminating the kind with a connection cable according to the kind of a connected information processor and programing the data of the circuit matching with the kind for the discriminated signal to a liquid crystal controller. CONSTITUTION:In a display device 6 for an OHP projector provided with the liquid crystal controller inputting a video signal outputted from the information processor 1 and always outputting it, this device is provided with the circuit discriminating the kind of the information processor 1 and a means revising the circuit of the liquid crystal controller by programing according to the signal of the kinds discrimination circuit. When a personal computer 1 outputting a horizontal synchronizing signal and a vertical synchronizing signal is selected, when the plug 9 of the cable 2 from the personal computer 1 is inserted into a connector, the kind selection 1 terminal of the connector is grounded, and the fact that the personal computer 1 is the type outputting R, G, B signals and the horizontal synchronizing signal and the vertical synchronizing signal is judged.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To scale down the faceplate registered by simple key operation of a user into the index form for display by controlling the write signal of a liquid crystal controller with CPU, and adding a floppy disk and the key operation. CONSTITUTION:The video signal output from an information processing equipment 1 is input to a liquid crystal controller 2, and the controller 2 and a CPU 5 write the data by one faceplate as the read-write memory in a two-way memory 3 once, and the data is read out to be converted to the data corresponding to the display of a liquid crystal 4. The CPU 5 reads an operating key 7, and while controls a port to turn ON/OFF the write signal of the controller 2 to the memory 3. The input image signal is fixed to be processed (scale-down) by hindering write of the memory 3. Multiple scale-down display faceplate can be projected in the commanded order.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To shield radiation harmful to a human body at inexpensive production cost in a vacuum duct by winding a wire material of heavy metal of tungsten and the like around the outer circumference of the vacuum duct to form a radiation shield layer. CONSTITUTION:After a vacuum duct 1 is wound with a wire material 3 of tungsten to form a radiation shield layer 4, metal plating 5 of Cr, Ni, Cu and the like which are good in heat conduction to the outside is performed. Since the vacuum duct 1 is used for a synchrotron, a storage ring and the like, and electron beam passing in the vacuum duct receives centripedal acceleration directed to the center when it rotates around a circular orbit to generate radiation of X-rays and the like. The radiation generated from the electron beam 2 in the vacuum duct 1 is shielded in the vacuum duct 1 by the use of the radiation shield layer 4 formed in the outer circumference of the vacuum duct 1. Thereby the radiation harmful to a human body can be suppressed from leaking to the outside of the vacuum duct 1.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To permit easy replacement of a recovering vessel and to improve the efficiency of recovering metal by providing a repellent plate and counter plate on both sides of ionized metal vapor flow and attachably and detachably connecting the recovering vessel via a valve to a metallic conduit connected to the recovering hole of the counter plate. CONSTITUTION:A metal 14 to be evaporated in a crucible 15 is heated to evaporate in a vacuum vessel 11 and the metal vapor is passed through an ionization device 16, by which the specific metal is ionized. The repellent plate 17 which is electrified positive and the counter plate 19 which has the recovering hole 18 are disposed on both sides of the ionized metal vapor flow so that the ionized metal vapor mentioned above is repelled by said plate and introduced into the recovering hole 18. The other metals which are neutral are stuck and recovered on the recovering plate 26. The ionized metal is introduced through the metallic conduit 20 electrified positive into the vacuum recovering vessel 23 connected thereto via the valve 21 and is recovered onto the recovering plate 25 which is disposed therein and is electrified negative. After the prescribed amt. of the metal is recovered, the recovering vessel 23 is easily exchanged by closing the valve 21 without breaking the vacuum of the vacuum vessel 11.

Abstract: A manually operable sweeping-type compact printer apparatus includes a key entry unit, a display unit, a memory unit, an encoder and a printer unit which are mounted on a manually manipulatable housing. When the housing is manually moved over a printing medium with the printer unit in contact with the printing medium, data entered by the key entry unit is printed out on the printing medium. In the printer apparatus, only designated segments or lengths of data are printed out on the printing medium, independent of continued travel or movement of the housing. Also, even if the housing is moved over the printing medium at an unstable moving velocity, high printing quality can be realized by control of the printing head. Stop codes designating the end of a data segment can be automatically or manually inserted.

Abstract: The present invention provides a technology that enables related portions of multiple pages of images to be displayed simultaneously. A projection display apparatus comprises: an image extraction section that extracts at least a portion of given first image data as an extraction image; an extraction image memory for storing extraction image data representing the extraction image; an image overlay section that generates overlaid image data by superimposing the extraction image on an original image represented by given second image data; a light modulation unit that is driven responsive to the overlaid image data pixel by pixel; and an optical system for projecting onto the screen the overlaid image obtained by the light modulation unit. A projection display apparatus can display related portions of multiple pages of images simultaneously.

In the hand lever device, the case has a ternary structure composed of one side case member (21), an intermediate case member (22) and the other side case member (23). The case (20) is dismounted from the handle (7) by detaching the other case member (23) from the one side case member (21) and the intermediate case member (22). The main lever (30) for drawing a cable (17) connected to a driven member (CV) is retained between the one side case member (21) and the intermediate case member (22) even in a time when said case (20) is dismounted or separated from the handle (7).

Abstract: The invention provides an image display apparatus that efficiently adjusts a video display even when a change takes place in an input signal. The image display apparatus includes a video input device that receives a video signal, a video display that displays an optical image based on an input signal S1 from the video input device, and a video signal adjusting device that adjusts the display setting of the video display based on a signal mode of the input signal S1. The image display apparatus further includes a determining device that causes the video display adjusting device to adjust the display setting of the video display. The determining device includes an apparatus startup detector unit that detects whether a startup of the image display apparatus creates a change in the input signal, and a signal change detector unit that detects the change in the input signal. The determining device determines whether to cause the video display adjusting device to adjust the display setting only when it is needed.
