Journal ArticleDOI
Atom probe tomography characterizations of high nickel, low copper surveillance RPV welds irradiated to high fluences
TL;DR: The Ringhals Units 3 and 4 PWRs in Sweden are pressurized water reactors (PWRs) designed and supplied by Westinghouse Electric Company, with commercial operation in 1981 and 1983, respectively as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Helium solubility and bubble formation in a nanostructured ferritic alloy
TL;DR: In this article, the response of a nanostructured ferritic alloy to He implantation and post-irradiation annealing (PIA) at 750°C was characterized by atom probe tomography and transmission electron microscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI
On the microstructure and strengthening mechanism in oxide dispersion-strengthened 316 steel: A coordinated electron microscopy, atom probe tomography and in situ synchrotron tensile investigation
Yinbin Miao,Kun Mo,Zhangjian Zhou,Xiang Liu,Kuan Che Lan,Guangming Zhang,Guangming Zhang,Michael K Miller,Kathy A. Powers,Zhi-Gang Mei,Jun-Sang Park,Jonathan Almer,James F. Stubbins +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, an oxide dispersion-strengthened 316 steel was developed to simultaneously provide the advantages of ODS steels in mechanical strength and radiation tolerance as well as the excellence of austenitic steels with creep performance and corrosion resistance.
Journal ArticleDOI
The interfacial orientation relationship of oxide nanoparticles in a hafnium-containing oxide dispersion-strengthened austenitic stainless steel
Yinbin Miao,Kun Mo,Bai Cui,Bai Cui,Wei Ying Chen,Michael K Miller,Kathy A. Powers,Virginia McCreary,David J. Gross,Jonathan Almer,Ian M. Robertson,Ian M. Robertson,James F. Stubbins +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, the orientation relationship of the oxide nanoparticles in a hafnium-containing austenitic oxide dispersion-strengthened 316 stainless steel was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
In situ synchrotron tensile investigations on the phase responses within an oxide dispersion-strengthened (ODS) 304 steel
Yinbin Miao,Kun Mo,Zhangjian Zhou,Xiang Liu,Kuan Che Lan,Guangming Zhang,Guangming Zhang,Michael K Miller,Kathy A. Powers,Jonathan Almer,James F. Stubbins +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the in situ synchrotron X-ray diffraction (XRD) tensile test results of ODS 304 stainless steel specimens were reported, showing that the lattice responses of different phases within the alloy to the externally applied stress indicate a prominent load partitioning phenomenon.
