Real-World Evidence and Glycemic Improvement Using Dexcom G6 Features
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined associations between use of optional features, demographics, and glycemic outcomes in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems and found that patients who used more of the alert and notification features had more favorable glycemic outcome, including time in range (TIR), than those who used fewer.
Journal ArticleDOI
A three-dimensional multiscale model for the prediction of thrombus growth under flow with single-platelet resolution
TL;DR: The approach allows consideration of patient-specific platelet signaling and vascular geometry for the prediction of thrombotic episodes and generalizability of the 3D multiscale solver enabled simulations of important clinical situations, such as cylindrical blood vessels and acute flow narrowing.
Journal ArticleDOI
Investigating thrombin-loaded fibrin in whole blood clot microfluidic assay via fluorogenic peptide.
TL;DR: In this article , Boc-Val-Pro-Arg-AMC was used to detect non-elutable thrombin activity in microfluidic whole blood clots.
Journal ArticleDOI
Anti-GPVI Fab reveals distinct roles for GPVI signaling in the first platelet layer and subsequent layers during microfluidic clotting on collagen with or without tissue factor.
Yi Zhang,Kevin T. Trigani,Kaushik Shankar,Jennifer Crossen,Yu Liu,Takashi Sinno,Scott L. Diamond +6 more
TL;DR: GPVI signaling in the first platelet layer on collagen dictatesThrombin and fibrin production, but the role of GPVI at subsequent times after formation of the first monolayer is obscured by thrombin-induced signaling.
