Review on Alkali-Activated Fly Ash Based Geopolymer Concrete
TL;DR: A review on fly ash-based geopolymer concrete can be found in this article, where the authors mainly cover composition, mixing and curing process, benefits, limitations and applications of alkali activated fly ash based concrete.
Journal ArticleDOI
Eco-friendly fibre reinforced geopolymer concrete: A critical review on the microstructure and long-term durability properties
TL;DR: In this article , the authors analyzed and discussed the mechanical and durability related properties of GPC containing various supplementary binding materials together with organic or synthetic fibres exposed to chloride salt, acid, and sulfate solution.
Journal ArticleDOI
Bond strength in PVA fibre reinforced fly ash-based geopolymer concrete
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fiber on the bond strength in geopolymer concrete was investigated and the results showed that the application of PVA fibre improves the bond resistance between the pullout bar and concrete matrix.
Journal ArticleDOI
The effect of reinforcement ratio on the flexural performance of alkali-activated fly ash-based geopolymer concrete beam
TL;DR: In this paper , the effect of reinforcement ratio on the flexural performance and non-linear fracture characteristics of AAFA-based concrete beams was investigated, which showed that the effect was not such substantial as reinforcement ratio in enhancing the ultimate load bearing capacity.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
An approximate deflection function for simply supported quadrilateral thin plate by variational approach
TL;DR: In this article, a more convenient deflection function that properly substitutes slow converging series function by Naiver for simply supported quadrilateral thin plate was presented by using variational approach.
