TL;DR: In this paper, an input profile that is referenced in converting an input image from an image input device into a device independent color image is created based on image input devices information, shooting- and observation-time lighting data, and subject data, allowing accurate conversion of the input image to the device-independent color image.
Abstract: In a color reproduction device, an input profile that is referenced in converting an input image from an image input device into a device-independent color image is created based on image input device information, shooting- and observation-time lighting data, and subject data, allowing accurate conversion of the input image to the device-independent color image. In reproducing the image by an image output device, the spectral reflectance of the subject itself is calculated from image input device information and shooting-time lighting data, thereby reducing the effect of the shooting-time lighting. The colors of the subject under observation lighting are calculated from observation-time lighting data. A color reproduced image is estimated accurately on the basis of the subject data even if the input image has little information.

TL;DR: A color classification apparatus for classifying the color component of a target object includes an imaging optical system, an image pickup device, optical bandpass filters, a transmission wavelength selection unit, a storage unit, an read unit, and a correction unit.
Abstract: A color classification apparatus for classifying the color component of a target object includes an imaging optical system, an image pickup device, optical bandpass filters, a transmission wavelength selection unit, a storage unit, a read unit, and a correction unit. The image pickup device is arranged on the imaging plane of the imaging optical system. The optical bandpass filters are optically arranged upstream the image pickup device, and have a plurality of different selectable optical transmission wavelength bands. The transmission wavelength selection unit selects one transmission wavelength band from the plurality of optical transmission wavelength bands. The storage unit stores each image information which has passed through the optical bandpass filter having the transmission wavelength band selected by the transmission wavelength selection unit and is picked up by the image pickup device, and transmission wavelength band information selected by the transmission selection means in correspondence with each other. The read unit performs read access, from the storage unit, to an area corresponding to the target object in the image information. In accordance with a positional shift of each image information of the target object stored in the storage means, the correction unit corrects the area of each image information to be read by the read unit.

TL;DR: A color reproducing system includes a color image input section and a storage section for storing the color image data which has been input through the input section, and a color output section for outputting the colour image data from the storage section as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: A color reproducing system includes a color image input section. A color image processing device has an image processing section for performing a predetermined processing on color image data input through the color image input section. A storage section stores therein the color image data which has been input through the color image input section. A color image output section outputs the color image data which has been stored in the storage section. The color image processing device further includes a processing selection section for performing selection about whether or not the predetermined processing is performed on the color image data input through the color image input section.

TL;DR: A color reproduction system has a color image input section and a color correcting section for correcting colors of a subject image obtained by photographing a subject by the color input section.
Abstract: A color reproduction system has a color image input section, and a color correcting section for correcting colors of a subject image obtained by photographing a subject by the color image input section. The color correcting section corrects colors by changing over a plurality of color correction parameters according to a subject image signal from the color image input section.

TL;DR: In this article, an image processing apparatus is provided which includes an image input apparatus for inputting an image including an object into a reproducing environment converting unit, which sets a desired illuminating environment on a monitor display screen in which the image is reproduced.
Abstract: An image processing apparatus is provided which includes an image input apparatus for inputting an image including an object. The image is input into a reproducing environment converting unit, which sets a desired illuminating environment on a monitor display screen in which the image is reproduced. The reproducing environment unit converts the image of the object by three-dimensionally moving and rotating the object in the set environment, and an image output apparatus displays and prints the converted image.

TL;DR: In this paper, a method and apparatus for automated cell analysis of biological specimens automatically scans at a low magnification to acquire images which are analyzed to determine candidate cell objects of interest, which correspond to cells or other structures relevant to medical diagnosis of the biological specimen.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for automated cell analysis of biological specimens automatically scans at a low magnification to acquire images which are analyzed to determine candidate cell objects of interest. The low magnification images are converted from a first color space to a second color space. The color space converted image is then low pass filtered and compared to a threshold to remove artifacts and background objects from the candidate object of interest pixels of the color converted image. The candidate object of interest pixels are morphologically processed to group candidate object of interest pixels together into groups which are compared to blob parameters to identify candidate objects of interest which correspond to cells or other structures relevant to medical diagnosis of the biological specimen. The location coordinates of the objects of interest are stored and additional images of the candidate cell objects are acquired at high magnification. The high magnification images are analyzed in the same manner as the low magnification images to confirm the candidate objects of interest which are objects of interest. A high magnification image of each confirmed object of interest is stored for later review and evaluation by a pathologist.

TL;DR: In this article, a display device using an organic light emitting element is provided which is structured so as to ensure excellent display performance by avoiding dot defect and improve long-term reliability, and the distance between an organic LEM element and a sealing substrate is controlled using the top of a bank that is placed in a pixel portion and the top top of an insulating film that is placing in a driving circuit portion.
Abstract: A display device using an organic light emitting element is provided which is structured so as to ensure excellent display performance by avoiding dot defect and improve long-term reliability. The distance between an organic light emitting element and a sealing substrate is controlled using the top of a bank that is placed in a pixel portion and the top of an insulating film that is placed in a driving circuit portion. As a result, a gap is provided between the organic light emitting element and the sealing substrate and a damage to the organic light emitting element can be avoided. Furthermore, the sealing substrate can be as close to an element substrate as possible, thereby keeping the amount of moisture that enters the display device from its sides small.
