TL;DR: In this article, a wireless virus protection method and a system for the same are provided to download the latest anti-virus vaccine program from a server and to get the vaccine program with a TSR(Terminate and Stay Resident program) type on a mobile terminal when the mobile terminal is initially connected to a mobile communication service provider or is in a waiting state.
Abstract: PURPOSE: A wireless virus protection method and a system for the same are provided to download the latest anti-virus vaccine program from a server and to get the vaccine program with a TSR(Terminate and Stay Resident program) type on a mobile terminal when the mobile terminal is initially connected to a mobile communication service provider or is in a waiting state. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises several steps. A mobile terminal is switched on(200), being bootstrapped and setting detailed system states by obtaining data like default data of a NAM(Number Assignment Module) parameter, a primary frequency channel and a secondary frequency channel(205). The mobile terminal is tuned to the primary frequency channel, being recovered to a pilot channel within a designated time(210), and obtaining a synchronization channel(215). The mobile terminal synchronizes an internal timer with a timer of a mobile communication service system(220). The mobile communication service system generates a subscriber profile at an HLR(Home Location Register) and a VLR(Visitor Location Register), and simultaneously transmitting system data on the mobile terminal to a wireless vaccine distribution system(225). The mobile terminal checks whether an outdated vaccine resides on the terminal(230). In a case that the outdated vaccine resides on the mobile terminal, the terminal transmits version data on the vaccine to the wireless vaccine distribution system(235, 240). In a case that there is no vaccine on the mobile terminal, the terminal informs the wireless vaccine distribution system that there is no vaccine(250).

TL;DR: In this article, a system is proposed to identify a second account identifier of a user from the second user identifier based on the mapping data between the first user identifiers and the first account identifiers to facilitate targeted advertising using the profile of the user and/or to provide information about certain transactions of the users related to a previously presented advertisement.
Abstract: In one aspect, a system includes a transaction handler to process transactions, a data warehouse to store transaction data recording the transactions processed at the transaction handler and to store mapping data between first user identifiers and first account identifiers, a profile generator to generate a profile of a user based on the transaction data, and a portal coupled to the transaction handler to receive a query identifying a second user identifier used by the first tracker to track online activities of a user. The system is to identify a second account identifier of the user from the second user identifier based on the mapping data between the first user identifiers and the first account identifiers to facilitate targeted advertising using the profile of the user and/or to provide information about certain transactions of the user related to a previously presented advertisement.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present methods, systems, and computer program products for over-the-air provisioning of soft cards on devices with wireless communications capabilities, where a card number for a soft card desired to be provisioned on the device is obtained from a user of the device.
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for over the air provisioning of soft cards on devices with wireless communications capabilities are disclosed. According to one method, a soft card provisioning application is instantiated on a device with wireless communications capabilities. A card number for a soft card desired to be provisioned on the device is obtained from a user of the device. The card number is communicated to a provisioning configuration server over an air interface. Card-issuer-specific challenges corresponding to the card number and a provisioning issuer server network address are obtained from the provisioning configuration server. The challenges are presented to the user, and the user's responses to the challenges are received. A connection is made to the provisioning issuer server corresponding to the network address. The challenge responses are communicated to the provisioning issuer server. Soft card personalization data for activating the soft card is received from the provisioning issuer server. The soft card is provisioned for use on the device based on the personalization data.
