TL;DR: In this article, a maxillary orthodontic apparatus for treating malocclusion with prognathic mandible (class III) was presented, in which the maxilla is posteriorly placed in relation to the normal mandible.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a maxillary orthodontic apparatus for treating malocclusion with prognathic mandible (class III malocclusion), in which the maxilla is posteriorly placed in relation to the normal mandible The maxillary orthodontic apparatus of the present invention comprises: an upper base which is inserted into the maxillary teeth; a lower base which includes a support wire connected to be spaced apart therefrom in front side thereof, and is inserted into the mandibular teeth; and a traction means which connects the upper base to the support wire so that the maxilla can be towed in a front upper direction with respect to the prognathic mandible The traction means includes: first and second latching parts included in the upper base; first and second traction parts included in the support wire; a first elastic member which connects the first latching part to the first traction part so that the upper base can be pressed forward; and a second elastic member which connects the second latching part to the second traction part so that a front end portion of the upper base can be lifted upward using the support wire as a support point Accordingly, the maxillary orthodontic apparatus of the present invention allows the maxilla and mandible to be arranged in appropriate positions without requiring an additional orthodontic treatment on the maxilla to be arranged in a normal position

TL;DR: In this article, an upper jaw orthodontic apparatus was proposed to correct the location of the teeth on both sides of the upper jaw by adjusting the angle of a band when inserting the band into the teeth.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an upper jaw orthodontic apparatus which corrects the location of the teeth on both sides of the upper jaw, and to an orthodontics method using the same. A user can easily mount the upper jaw orthodontic apparatus on the teeth by adjusting the angle of a band of the orthodontic apparatus when inserting the band into the teeth. The upper jaw orthodontic apparatus comprises: a support body connected to a support bar to be separated from the band at a fixed distance to reinforce the strength between the band and the support bar; a mesh member arranged between the support body and the band; and an angle adjusting means composed of a reinforcing member applied and cured on the angle adjusting means while surrounding the mesh member.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a correction device capable of correcting class III malocclusion through the anterior traction of the maxilla, the posterior downward movement of the mandible, and the posterior movement of mandibular dentition with the lateral extension of maxilla.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a class III malocclusion correction device. The class III malocclusion correction device comprises: a frame (20) capable of maxillary arch extension; a modulator (10) capable of anterior traction of the maxilla and posterior downward movement of the mandible by being connected to the frame (20) through a first elastic member (41); and a splinter (30) fixed to the mandibular dentition and connected to the frame (20) through a second elastic member (42) to assist anterior traction of the maxilla and posterior movement of the mandibular dentition, inducing correction force to work smoothly by separating the maxillary dentition and the mandibular dentition to eliminate the interference caused by the occlusion, minimizing the change in facial length by preventing the eruption of maxillary molar dentition, and stabilizing the jaw joint by eliminating occlusal interference. The present invention provides the correction device capable of correcting class III malocclusion through the anterior traction of the maxilla, the posterior downward movement of the mandible, and the posterior movement of the mandibular dentition with the lateral extension of the maxilla.

TL;DR: The reverse headgear appliance has excellent fixation, is smart and comfort, allows people to speak and eat, reduces orthodontic time and is increased in adaptation disease, increases clinical curative rate and has excellent economic and social benefit.
Abstract: The invention discloses an intraoral maxillary clasp type occlusal pad reverse headgear appliance for orthodontics of skeletal crossbite. The reverse headgear appliance has a structure as a palatal side base plate that covers all upper teeth; a back tooth occlusal pad and an incisor teeth cap are symmetrically arranged on the palatal side base plate; a permanent molar arrow clasp, a premolar arrow clasp, a front towing hook and a maxillary central incisor long arrow clasp are symmetrically embedded in the palatal side base plate, or a primary molar long arrow clasp, a front towing hook and a maxillary central incisor long arrow clasp are symmetrically embedded in the palatal side base plate, or a back tooth embrasure hook and a maxillary central incisor long arrow clasp are symmetrically embedded in the palatal side base plate. The front towing hook is located at the lip side and between a lateral incisor teeth and a canine tooth at a distance being 3-5 mm from a sulcus vestibularis, wherein an opening being inclined relative to an occlusal plane upwardly and backwardly at 45 degrees is formed in the front towing hook, and the front towing hook is bent outwardly in a U-shaped structure. The reverse headgear appliance has excellent fixation, is smart and comfort, allows people to speak and eat, reduces orthodontic time and is increased in adaptation disease, increases clinical curative rate and has excellent economic and social benefit.
