Journal ArticleDOI
Anatomic Properties of Myocardial Bridge Predisposing to Myocardial Infarction
Yukio Ishikawa,Yoshikiyo Akasaka,Koyu Suzuki,Mieko Fujiwara,Takafumi Ogawa,Kazuto Yamazaki,Hitoshi Niino,Michio Tanaka,Kentaro Ogata,Shojiroh Morinaga,Yoshiro Ebihara,Yutaka Kawahara,Hitoshi Sugiura,Takimoto T,Akio Komatsu,Toshihito Shinagawa,Kazuhiro Taki,Hideaki Satoh,Kazuaki Yamada,Maki Yanagida-Iida,Reiko Shimokawa,Kazuyuki Shimada,Chiaki Nishimura,Kinji Ito,Toshiharu Ishii +24 more
TL;DR: In the proximal LAD with an MB, MB muscle index is associated with a shift of coronary disease more proximally, an effect that may increase the risk of MI.
Journal ArticleDOI
Lymphangiogenesis in myocardial remodelling after infarction.
Yukio Ishikawa,Yuri Akishima-Fukasawa,Kinji Ito,Yoshikiyo Akasaka,M Tanaka,Reiko Shimokawa,Masayo Kimura-Matsumoto,Hiroshi Morita,Shinji Sato,Itaru Kamata,Toshiharu Ishii +10 more
TL;DR: The aim was to investigate by D2‐40 immunohistochemistry the sequential changes in lymphatic distribution in the process of myocardial remodelling after myocardIAL infarction.
Journal ArticleDOI
Significance of anatomical properties of myocardial bridge on atherosclerosis evolution in the left anterior descending coronary artery.
Yukio Ishikawa,Yoshikiyo Akasaka,Kinji Ito,Yuri Akishima,Masayo Kimura,Hideko Kiguchi,Ai Fujimoto,Toshiharu Ishii +7 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that anatomical properties of MB are the critical modulators for atherosclerosis evolution in the entire course of LAD.
Journal ArticleDOI
Histopathologic determinants of regional lymph node metastasis in early colorectal cancer.
Yukio Ishikawa,Yuri Akishima-Fukasawa,Kinji Ito,Yoshikiyo Akasaka,Tomoko Yokoo,Toshiharu Ishii +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, accurate predictors for LN metastasis in patients with ECC were examined by using immunohistochemistry with the lymphatic endothelial hyaluronan receptor 1 (LYVE-1) antibody to discriminate between lymphatics and blood vessels.
Journal ArticleDOI
Basic fibroblast growth factor in an artificial dermis promotes apoptosis and inhibits expression of α-smooth muscle actin, leading to reduction of wound contraction
Yoshikiyo Akasaka,Ichiro Ono,Akihiro Tominaga,Yukio Ishikawa,Kinji Ito,Takeya Suzuki,Risa Imaizumi,Shigeki Ishiguro,Kowichi Jimbow,Toshiharu Ishii +9 more
TL;DR: Results suggest that bFGF administration to an artificial dermis promotes apoptosis of α‐SMA‐positive fibroblastic cells and inhibits α‐ SMA expression in the treated wound, thus reducing wound contraction.
