Tanizaki,Takamasa Yamagami,Akira Yamamoto,Yoshihisa Yamamoto,K. Yamato,T. Yoshida,Kohei Yoshimura +34 more
TL;DR: In this article, the BESS-TeV spectrometer was used to precisely measure the primary and atmospheric cosmic-ray spectra with a high resolution of 7 times higher resolution in momentum measurement, and the absolute fluxes of primary protons and helium nuclei in the energy ranges, 1.540 and 1.250, respectively, were reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Measurements of 0.2–20 GeV/n cosmic-ray proton and helium spectra from 1997 through 2002 with the BESS spectrometer
Y. Shikaze,Sadakazu Haino,K. Abe,H. Fuke,Thomas Hams,K. C. Kim,Yasuhiro Makida,S. Matsuda,John Mitchell,A. A. Moiseev,J. Nishimura,Mitsuaki Nozaki,S. Orito,Jonathan F. Ormes,T. Sanuki,M. Sasaki,Eun-Suk Seo,R. E. Streitmatter,J. Suzuki,Kazuhiro Tanaka,Takamasa Yamagami,Akira Yamamoto,T. Yoshida,Kohei Yoshimura +23 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured low energy cosmic-ray proton and helium spectra in the kinetic energy range 0.215-21.5 GHz at different solar activities during a period from 1997 to 2002.
Journal ArticleDOI
Measurements of cosmic-ray low-energy antiproton and proton spectra in a transient period of solar field reversal.
Yoichi Asaoka,Y. Shikaze,K. Abe,Kazuaki Anraku,M. Fujikawa,Hideyuki Fuke,Sadakazu Haino,M. Imori,Keisuke Izumi,Tadashi Maeno,Yasuhiro Makida,S. Matsuda,Nagataka Matsui,T. Matsukawa,H. Matsumoto,H. TL;DR: Based on measurements, a sudden increase of the *p/p flux ratio following the solar magnetic field reversal was observed, and it generally agrees with a drift model of the solar modulation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Measurement of Cosmic-Ray Hydrogen and Helium and Their Isotopic Composition with the BESS Experiment
J. Z. Wang,Eun-Suk Seo,Kazuaki Anraku,M. Fujikawa,M. Imori,Tadashi Maeno,Nagataka Matsui,H. Matsunaga,M. Motoki,S. Orito,T. Saeki,T. Sanuki,Ikuo Ueda,Kohei Yoshimura,Yasuhiro Makida,Jun-ichi Suzuki,Kazuhiro Tanaka,Akira Yamamoto,Tessei Yoshida,T. Mitsui,Hiroshi Matsumoto,Mitsuaki Nozaki,M. Sasaki,John Mitchell,A. A. Moiseev,Jonathan F. Ormes,R. E. Streitmatter,Jun Nishimura,Y. Yajima,Takamasa Yamagami +29 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented the hydrogen and helium nuclei energy spectra from 0.2 to 10 GeV nucleon-1 and their isotopic composition from about 1 GeV nucleus-1 for the first BESS flight, which provided the first simultaneous measurements of the cosmic-ray secondaries, deuterons, and 3He, with their primaries, protons and 4He over this energy range.
Journal ArticleDOI
Information geometric inequalities of chemical thermodynamics
TL;DR: In this paper, a connection between chemical thermodynamics and information geometry is made, and the authors show a link between speed limits and the Cram\'er-Rao inequality and information-geometric trade-off relations in chemical reaction networks.
