Nucleoside syntheses, XXII1) Nucleoside synthesis with trimethylsilyl triflate and perchlorate as catalysts
TL;DR: The Lewis acids (CH3)3SiOSO2CF3 (3), CH3 5S iOSO2C4F9 (6), and CH3 3SiClO4 (4) are highly selective and efficient Friedel-Crafts catalysts for nucleoside formation form silylated heterocycles and peracylated sugars as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
A simple synthesis of Δ2-oxazines, Δ2-oxazines, Δ2-thiazolines and 2-substituted benzoxazoles
TL;DR: Carboxylic acids react readily at O°→+24°C with amino alcohols, amino mercaptans and o-aminophenols in the presence of triphenylphosphine-or tributyl phosphine dichloride (generated in situ from the reaction of the phosphines with hexachloroethane or CCl4) as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
A simple synthesis of Δ2-oxazolines, Δ2-oxazines, Δ2-thiazolines and Δ2-imidazolines
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors showed that in the presence of triphenylphosphine, CCl4 and tert. bases, 50 to 75% yield the corresponding Δ2-oxazolines, Δ2oxazines, Δ 2-thiazolines and Δ2imidazoline.

TL;DR: In this article, the use of compounds of the general formula (I) as non-steroidal inflammation inhibitors, to a method for the production of the same and to selected compounds, is described.
