Abstract: Кравченко Галина Валентиновна Нэп на Дону, Кубани и Ставрополье (политический и социально-экономический контекст) Цель исследования выявление социально-экономического и социально-политического контекста на Юго-Востоке в условиях нэпа, с которым вынуждена была считаться центральная власть, моделируя свой курс. Научная новизна заключается в изучении нэпа на микроуровне (региональная специфика), а также рассмотрении не только однонаправленно влияния центра на регион, но и возможности взаимовлияния. В результате исследования обоснована специфика сценария реализации нэпа в регионе: введение единого проднаряда, переход к нэпу растянулся на два года, рыночные отношения стали проводиться с 1923 г. Партийно-советские структуры осуществляли курс на унификацию сельского населения, подавляли движение "бело-зелѐных" (до осени 1924 г.), сохраняли чрезвычайные органы (ревкомы, посевкомы). Abstract: Purpose The purpose of this article is to study the impact of the famine of 1932–1933 years in the population change of the Southern Urals Methodology Basis of research is historical and comparative, historical and systematic, methods of critical analysis, which examined a number of historical sources, statistical reports, memoranda, special certificates, which contain information about the events Results The famine of 1932–1933 years caused the mark on several generations of people, causing increased mortality among the population of the Southern Urals The author has proved that the quality of records of births and deaths of that time contained a number of errors This was due to the availability of land where there was no registrar, and the population is not accustomed to registering births, deaths or marriages in the new soviet form Therefore, using turnover data on natural and mechanical growth during the 1930 years, it is important to take into account all the shortcomings The author comes to the conclusion that the highest mortality is observed among children up to one year, then the more the age, the lower the risk of death Dynamics of mortality by regions of the southern Urals are presented in detail in numerical and percentage terms Among the population of the southern Urals in the 1930 years, the highest percentage of mortality observed among the villagers, due to the difficulties of rural lifestyle, dominated in this period, the agricultural sector over the industrial one The study established the specificity of hunger in different areas In some areas of the southern Urals time frame hunger went beyond generally accepted locally or episodically The importance of studying the famine of 1932–1933 years caused by a attempt of modern Ukraine to present this tragedy as genocide The author takes the point of view of a number of local historians about the universality of the tragedy of the famine of 1932–1933 years without national specificity The study of regional history and the specifics of the famine of 1932–1933 years allows us to speak of universality Practical implications The results of the study can be applied in the sphere of social support of the population, the solution of modern problems of demography, in the process of teaching history

Abstract: В статье анализируется коммерческая деятельность английской фирмы «Гудзон-Бей» на территории Крайнего Северо-Востока Советского государства в начале 1920-х гг. В этот период времени проблема снабжения товарами первой необходимости населения северных территорий была особенно актуальна, и советская власть привлекала к сотрудничеству иностранные, в том числе европейские, фирмы. Исследование основано на неопубликованных документах, содержащихся в дальневосточных архивах.
