Recirculating Intestinal IgA-Producing Cells Regulate Neuroinflammation via IL-10
Olga L. Rojas,Anne-Katrin Pröbstel,Elisa A. Porfilio,Angela A. Wang,Marc Charabati,Tian Sun,Dennis S. W. Lee,Georgina Galicia,Valeria Ramaglia,Lesley A. Ward,Leslie Y. T. Leung,Ghazal Najafi,Khashayar Khaleghi,Beatriz Garcillán,Angela Li,Angela Li,Rickvinder Besla,Rickvinder Besla,Ikbel Naouar,Eric Y. Cao,Pailin Chiaranunt,Kyle Burrows,Hannah G. Robinson,Jessica R. Allanach,Jennifer Y. Yam,Helen Luck,Helen Luck,Daniel J. Campbell,David Allman,David G. Brooks,David G. Brooks,Michio Tomura,Ryan Baumann,Scott S. Zamvil,Amit Bar-Or,Marc S. Horwitz,Daniel A. Winer,Daniel A. Winer,Arthur Mortha,Fabienne Mackay,Alexandre Prat,Lisa C. Osborne,Clinton S. Robbins,Clinton S. Robbins,Sergio E. Baranzini,Jennifer L. Gommerman +45 more
TL;DR: It is shown that IgA+ PB and/or PC mobilized from the gut play an unexpected role in suppressing neuroinflammation and are dramatically reduced in the gut during EAE, and likewise, a reduction in IgA-bound fecal bacteria is seen in MS patients during disease relapse.
Journal ArticleDOI
Neutrophils instruct homeostatic and pathological states in naive tissues
Maria Casanova-Acebes,José Ángel Nicolás-Ávila,Jackson LiangYao Li,Jackson LiangYao Li,Susana García-Silva,Akhila Balachander,Andrea Rubio-Ponce,Linnea A. Weiss,José M. Adrover,Kyle Burrows,Noelia A-Gonzalez,Iván Ballesteros,Sapna Devi,Juan A. Quintana,Georgiana Crainiciuc,Magdalena Leiva,Matthias Gunzer,Christian Weber,Christian Weber,Takashi Nagasawa,Oliver Soehnlein,Miriam Merad,Arthur Mortha,Lai Guan Ng,Héctor Peinado,Andrés Hidalgo,Andrés Hidalgo +26 more
TL;DR: It is shown that neutrophils are endowed with the capacity to infiltrate multiple tissues in the steady-state, a process that follows tissue-specific dynamics and which dictated the diurnal patterns of lung invasion by melanoma cells.
Journal ArticleDOI
Activating and inhibitory functions for the histone lysine methyltransferase G9a in T helper cell differentiation and function
Bernhard Lehnertz,Jeffrey P. Northrop,Frann Antignano,Kyle Burrows,Sima Hadidi,Sarah C. Mullaly,Fabio M.V. Rossi,Colby Zaph +7 more
TL;DR: It is established that G9a-deficient Th cells are specifically impaired in their induction of Th2 lineage-specific cytokines IL-4, IL-5, and IL-13 and fail to protect against infection with the intestinal helminth Trichuris muris.
Journal ArticleDOI
Methyltransferase G9A regulates T cell differentiation during murine intestinal inflammation
Frann Antignano,Kyle Burrows,Michael R. Hughes,Jonathan M. Han,Ken Kron,Nadia M. Penrod,Menno J. Oudhoff,Steven Kai Hao Wang,Paul H. Min,Matthew J. Gold,Alistair Chenery,Mitchell J.S. Braam,Thomas C. Fung,Fabio M.V. Rossi,Kelly M. McNagny,Cheryl H. Arrowsmith,Mathieu Lupien,Megan K. Levings,Colby Zaph +18 more
TL;DR: G9A-dependent H3K9me2 is a homeostatic epigenetic checkpoint that regulates Th17 and Treg responses by limiting chromatin accessibility and TGF-β1 responsiveness, suggesting G9A as a therapeutic target for treating intestinal inflammation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cytokine Networks between Innate Lymphoid Cells and Myeloid Cells.
Arthur Mortha,Kyle Burrows +1 more
TL;DR: How feedback communication between ILCs and myeloid cells contribute to stabilize immune homeostasis in order to maintain the healthy state of an organ is discussed.
