TL;DR: In this article, a 3D printer-based orthodontic bracket preparation is described, which requires no preparation step such as bracket position setting using a bracket positioner, and can be conveniently carried out in which an orthodentic bracket is produced in accordance with a surgical subjects tooth form and is arranged and then a wire is fastened to the bracket.
Abstract: The present invention relates to 3D printer-based orthodontic bracket preparation. According to the present invention, which requires no preparation step such as bracket position setting using a bracket positioner, preparation can be conveniently carried out in which an orthodontic bracket is produced in accordance with a surgical subjects tooth form and is arranged and then a wire is fastened to the bracket. An impression material tooth model or a picture file-based tooth model of the surgical subject is obtained by the use of a 3D scanner and waxing of the surgical subjects tooth part. Then, the orthodontic bracket is arranged in the tooth model, and then 3D printing is performed for the preparation of the orthodontic bracket fitting the tooth model. During the 3D printing, additional coupling means is integrally configured with the orthodontic bracket. The bracket arrangement in the tooth model can be conveniently performed by the use of the coupling means.

TL;DR: In this paper, a microimplant placement guide is described, which includes a jig having a through-hole and a guide hole for guiding a dental drill or a micro-implant to be inserted into an alveolar bone, and a supporting member including a flexible wire which passes through the throughhole of the jig and is deformed according to a placement position and direction of the microimplacement.
Abstract: A microimplant placement guide is disclosed. The microimplant placement guide includes a jig having a through-hole and a guide hole for guiding a dental drill or a microimplant to be inserted into an alveolar bone, a supporting member including a flexible wire which passes through the through-hole of the jig and is deformed according to a placement position and direction of the microimplant, and a holder which is manufactured based on a patient's teeth model and fixes both ends of the supporting member while determining the accurate placement position and direction of the microimplant. Since the microimplant placement is achieved by the microimplant placement guide obtained from the patient's teeth model, the accuracy and safety of the operation are increased.

TL;DR: An orthodontic correction appliance may be directly connected to upper and lower removable orthodentic aligners to treat a Class II malocclusion as discussed by the authors, and the correction appliance can carry a biasing member that is connected to each of the two elongated sections of the appliance.
Abstract: An orthodontic correction appliance may be directly connected to upper and lower removable orthodontic aligners to treat a Class II malocclusion. In some examples, the correction appliance has two elongated sections that are slidably connected to each other and allowed to move back and forth relative to each other. The ends of the two elongated sections can be attached to connectors extending from the removable aligners. In addition, the correction appliance can carry a biasing member that is connected to each of the two elongated sections of the appliance. The biasing member may bias the ends of the two elongated sections away from each other, providing a force to treat the Class II malocclusion while the patient is wearing the upper and lower removable orthodontic aligners.

TL;DR: In this article, a system for repositioning teeth using one or more appliances for installing on a patient's teeth is described, which includes an arch shaped member, a plurality of spring members coupled to or provided on the arch-shaped member, and a plurality securing members for securing to a corresponding plurality of the patients' teeth on a one-to-one basis.
Abstract: Systems and methods of repositioning teeth, using one or more appliances for installing on a patient's teeth are described. The appliance includes an arch shaped member; a plurality of spring members coupled to or provided on the arch shaped member; and a plurality of securing members for securing to a corresponding plurality of the patient's teeth on a one-to-one basis, the securing members being supported by the arch shaped member. The arch shaped member and the plurality of springs, together, comprise a two dimensional structure having a length dimension and a width dimension with varying widths along the length dimension, that is bent into a three dimensional structure.

TL;DR: An orthodontics arch wire for closing an extracted tooth space is provided in this article, which is formed in an arch shape to fasten each bracket attached on teeth along an arrangement line of the teeth.
Abstract: An orthodontics arch wire for closing an extracted tooth space is provided to perform orthodontics by moving and maintaining teeth in parallel with a tooth axis between an extracted tooth space. The orthodontics arch wire is formed in an arch shape to fasten each bracket attached on teeth along an arrangement line of the teeth for closing an extracted tooth space. First and second posts(21,22) protrude downwardly from points spaced apart from both extending directions of the arch wire with respect to a symmetrical center point of the arch wire in a constant length. Third and fourth posts(23,24) protrude downwardly from points spaced apart from the first and second posts in both extending directions of the arch wire with respect to the symmetrical center point of the arch wire in a constant length.
