TL;DR: In this article, a tool holder that is rotatable about an axis and provided with at least one peripheral cutting blade was used to machine a seat face of a mechanical part. But the tool holder was not equipped with an abrasive surface.
Abstract: The present application relates to a device (1) and a method for machining a seat face of a mechanical part, comprising a tool holder (3) that is rotatable about an axis (2) and is provided with at least one peripheral cutting blade (9). Said device further comprises an abrasive machining tool (10) which is secured to rotate with the tool holder and which has at least one abrasive surface (29), said abrasive tool being mounted on the tool holder (3) and being secured to said tool holder by elastic means (23) that allow the abrasive tool to axially move in relation to the tool holder.

TL;DR: In this paper, a rotary cutting tool made of multiple materials is described, and a method for producing a tool of this kind, which is a tool comprising at least one continuous or substantially continuous cutting edge made of at least two different successive materials.
Abstract: The invention relates to a rotary cutting tool (1) made of multiple materials, and to a method for producing a tool of this kind, said tool comprising at least one continuous or substantially continuous cutting edge (8, 9) made of at least two different successive materials. The end or top (10) of the tool is a point eccentric in relation to the axis of rotation (5) of the tool.
