Volcanic structure of the Tarim flood basalt revealed through 3-D seismological imaging

TL;DR: In this article, the detailed structures of the volcanic edifice and plumbing system of the early Permian Tarim flood basalt were investigated by three-dimensional seismic imaging, and it was shown that a gas-driven vigorous eruption can be inferred from the imaged structure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Phase formation in nitrogen ion implanted Ti–Al–Zr alloy and modification of corrosion property

TL;DR: In this article, surface modification of Ti-Al-Zr alloy with nitrogen ions is considered as a method to improve its performance with respect to corrosion, and the implantation of nitrogen ions on the surface enhanced the passivation and reduced the corrosion kinetics of the alloy surface.
Journal ArticleDOI

Luminescence emission-modulated based on specific two-photon compound of triazole-conjugated pyrene derivative

TL;DR: In this article, a triazole-conjugated pyrene derivative (DTP) with strong two-photon absorption has been synthesized via CuAAC reaction, which can readily self-assemble into ultra-long 1D single-crystal nanowires by a one-step anti-solvent diffusion method.
Posted ContentDOI

Application of satellite microwave remote sensed brightness temperature in the regional soil moisture simulation

TL;DR: Yan et al. as discussed by the authors used satellite microwave remote sensing polarization index and land surface soil moisture (SM) data to estimate the land surface SM from AMSR-E (Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer - Earth Observing System) brightness temperature data.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of different polymer lattices on performance of their modified rapid hardening sulphoaluminate cement mortars

TL;DR: In this paper, an emulsifier free polymer latex (FL) and a conventional latex (CL) having the same chemical components were successfully synthesised with styrene (St) and butyl acrylate (BA) in the presence or absence of emulsifiers.
