Journal ArticleDOI

Reactions of laser-ablated iron atoms with N2O, NO, and O2 in condensing nitrogen. Infrared spectra and density functional calculations of ternary iron nitride oxide molecules

TL;DR: In this paper, a ternary iron nitride oxide molecule NFeO, nFeO2, and n2FeO was constructed from laser-ablated Fe atoms with N2O, NO, and O2 in excess N2 during condensation at 10 K.
Journal ArticleDOI

FTIR spectra of the dimethyl ether-hydrogen fluoride complex and related complexes in solid argon

TL;DR: In this paper, a 1:1 complex with carbon-oxygen stretching fundamentals were red-shifted in the complex, which supported a complex structure with HF hydrogen bonded to a lone pair on the ether oxygen.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reactions of laser-ablated silver and gold atoms with dioxygen and density functional theory calculations of product molecules

TL;DR: In this paper, the major new molecule observed here is gold dioxide, and extensive DFT calculations are compared for several silver and gold-dioxygen complexes, including gold dioxide and gold dioxide.
