Journal ArticleDOI
Application of multicriteria decision making methods to air quality in the microenvironments of residential houses in Brisbane, Australia.
TL;DR: Patterns in GAIA plots show that indoor air quality in these houses is strongly dependent on the characteristics of the houses, which underscores the potential of PROMETHEE and GAIA to provide information that can assist source apportionment and elucidation of effective remedial measures for indoor air pollution.
Journal ArticleDOI
Associations of greenness with diabetes mellitus and glucose-homeostasis markers: The 33 Communities Chinese Health Study.
Bo-Yi Yang,Iana Markevych,Joachim Heinrich,Gayan Bowatte,Michael S. Bloom,Yuming Guo,Shyamali C. Dharmage,Bin Jalaludin,Luke D. Knibbs,Lidia Morawska,Zhengmin Qian,Duo Hong Chen,Huimin Ma,Da Chen,Shao Lin,Mo Yang,Kang Kang Liu,Xiao Wen Zeng,Li-Wen Hu,Guang-Hui Dong +19 more
TL;DR: Higher residential greenness appears to be associated with a lower prevalence of DM, due to glucose and insulin metabolism and pancreatic β-cell function, and lower levels of air pollution and body mass index can be pathways linking greenspace to diabetes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Deposition rates of fungal spores in indoor environments, factors effecting them and comparison with non-biological aerosols
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the deposition rates of fungal particles in a chamber of 20.4 m3 simulating indoor environments by releasing fungal particle into the chamber, in sufficient concentrations so the particle deposition rates can be statistically analyzed.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors provided global, regional, and national estimates of the burden of tracheal, bronchus, and lung cancer and larynx cancer and their attributable risks from 1990 to 2019.
Journal ArticleDOI
Spatial variation in particle number size distributions in a large metropolitan area
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the spatial variation of the particle number size distribution (NSD) in urban areas and found that with the exception of one site all distributions were bimodal or suggestive of Bimodality.
