Journal ArticleDOI

Rapid prototyping for architectural models

TL;DR: Work carried out by the authors to investigate potential applications for architectural modelling, as well as an attempt to explore the limits of the technology are described.
Journal ArticleDOI

Possibility of colouring SLS prototypes using the ink‐jet method

TL;DR: In this article, a mechanism developed for use inside an SLS machine along with some preliminary experiments and observations is described along with a mechanism for colouring a model inside the SLS process.

Specification of VRML in color rapid prototyping

TL;DR: This paper acts as a review to discuss several methods of using VRML for coloring model data and to discuss the problems occurred in coloring the layer contours of the RP model.
Journal ArticleDOI

Experimental investigation of ink on powder used for selective laser sintering

TL;DR: An ink-jet printing mechanism has been designed to fit inside the Sinterstation 2000 machine for making color selective laser sintering (SLS) prototypes as mentioned in this paper, and a number of experiments were carried out that include a decision on printing before sinter and after sinter.
