Clinical predictors of mortality due to COVID-19 based on an analysis of data of 150 patients from Wuhan, China.
TL;DR: This study conducted a retrospective multicenter study of 68 death cases and 82 discharged cases with laboratory-confirmed infection of SARS-CoV-2 and confirmed that some patients died of fulminant myocarditis, which is characterized by a rapid progress and a severe state of illness.
Journal ArticleDOI
Correction to: Clinical predictors of mortality due to COVID-19 based on an analysis of data of 150 patients from Wuhan, China
TL;DR: Clinical predictors of mortality due to COVID-19 based on an analysis of data of 150 patients from Wuhan, China shows clear trends in survival and morbidity.
Journal ArticleDOI
pH/temperature sensitive magnetic nanogels conjugated with Cy5.5-labled lactoferrin for MR and fluorescence imaging of glioma in rats
Lingyu Jiang,Qing Zhou,Ketao Mu,Hui Xie,Yanhong Zhu,Wenzhen Zhu,Yanbing Zhao,Huibi Xu,Xiangliang Yang +8 more
TL;DR: In vivo studies on rats bearing in situ glioma indicated that the MR/fluorescence imaging with high sensitivity and specificity could be acquired using Cy5.5-Lf-MPNA nanogels due to active targeting function of the Lf and enhancement of cellular uptake by tailoring the hydrophilic/hydrophobic properties of the Nanogels.
Journal ArticleDOI
Monoclonal Antibody–Conjugated Superparamagnetic Iron Oxide Nanoparticles for Imaging of Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor–Targeted Cells and Gliomas
Ketao Mu,Shun Zhang,Tao Ai,Jingjing Jiang,Yihao Yao,Lingyu Jiang,Qing Zhou,Hongbing Xiang,Yanhong Zhu,Xiangliang Yang,Wenzhen Zhu +10 more
TL;DR: The preferential accumulation of the EGFRmAb-SPIONs within glioma and subsequent MRI contrast enhancement were demonstrated both in vitro in C6 cells and in vivo in rats bearing C6 gliomas, suggesting EGFRs could potentially be employed as a targeted contrast agent in the molecule-specific diagnosis of brain gli cancer in MRI.
Journal ArticleDOI
Host Langerin (CD207) is a receptor for Yersinia pestis phagocytosis and promotes dissemination
Kun Yang,Chae Gyu Park,Cheolho Cheong,Silvia Bulgheresi,Shusheng Zhang,Pei Zhang,Yingxia He,Lingyu Jiang,Hongping Huang,Honghui Ding,Yiping Wu,Shaogang Wang,Lin Zhang,An-Yi Li,Lianxu Xia,Sara Schesser Bartra,Gregory V. Plano,Mikael Skurnik,John D Klena,Tie Chen +19 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that direct interaction of core oligosaccharides with Langerin facilitates the invasion of LCs by Y. pestis, and covering core oligocharides reduces the mortality associated with murine infection by adversely affecting the transmission of Y. pests to lymph nodes.
