Journal ArticleDOI

A colorimetric and ratiometric fluorescent probe with ultralow detection limit and high selectivity for phosgene sensing

TL;DR: A colorimetric and ratiometric fluorescent probe (AC-6ED) with anthracene carboximide as fluorophore and ethylenediamine group as recognition moiety has been developed for phosgene detection in solutions and in the gas phase based on the intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) mechanism as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

A novel N-nitrosation-based ratiometric fluorescent probe for highly selective imaging endogenous nitric oxide in living cells and zebrafish

TL;DR: A novel ratiometric fluorescence probe (AC-SA), in which anthracene carboximide and secondary amines at the 6th position of the fluorophore severed as recognition moiety is rationally designed to detect NO, which can be applied to image endogenous NO in Raw 264.7 macrophage cells as well as zebrafish in aRatiometric manner.
Journal ArticleDOI

1,6-Elimination reaction induced detection of fluoride ions in vitro and in vivo based on a NIR fluorescent probe.

TL;DR: A new dicyanomethylene-4H-pyran derivative (DCM-Si) NIR fluorescent probe was designed and synthesized for specific lighting up F- in living cells and bodies and the detection limit was calculated to be as low as 157 nM.
