Abstract: The low speed,high efficiency dense phase pneumatic conveying equipments can solve the difficulties of the breakage of the materials,the blockage and abrasion of the pipelines and reduce the consumption of gas.The several definitions of dense phase pneumatic conveying and phase-figure of conveying,the influence of flowing mode,the relevant judgments and the factors influencing the pneumatic conveying are reviewed.The appearance of the blockage during the conveying and the abrasion of the pipeline are introduced.Some methods of measurement and autocontrol are mentioned.

Abstract: Horizontal curved pipe which are widely used in the engineering project and less researched were selected to study in the high concentration of fluidized transportation. Compressed air was used as the transmission power and gypsum powder as the transport medium. And then, the flow characteristics in horizontal curved pipeline of dense phase pneumatic conveying gypsum powder were achieved. The experimental results showed that the geometry parameters such as angle of the bend, radius of curvature and operating parameters i.e. conveying pressure, gas velocity, solid velocity etc have a dominant effect on the gas solid flow process.

Abstract: In the dense phase pneumatic conveying lab table, used horizontal shrinked pipeline as transmission pipe. Used compressed air as conveying power and dry gypsum powder as transported materials, then conducted with gas-solid conveying experiment. Through the experiment, resulted show change law and influence factors of pressure drop in horizontal shrinked pipeline under different transportation conditions.In this study. The results showed that diameter ratio, solid and gas mass ratio and diffusion angle could affect the pressure drop of the pipeline .
