Development of a Process Analytical Technology (PAT) for in-line monitoring of film thickness and mass of coating materials during a pan coating operation

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that in-line NIR measurements associated with multivariate analyses can be implemented to monitor in real-time a pan coating operation in order to fulfil the expectations of ICH Q8 guideline on pharmaceutical development, especially in terms of PAT control strategy and reduced end-product testing.
Journal ArticleDOI

Tablet potency of Tianeptine in coated tablets by near infrared spectroscopy: model optimisation, calibration transfer and confidence intervals.

TL;DR: A near infrared (NIR) method was developed for determination of tablet potency of active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) in a complex coated tablet matrix and an easy to use graphical interface was developed to easily determine if the predictions are within the specifications defined by the regulatory organisation.

Synthesis process, and crystalline form of 4-{3-[cis-hexahydrocyclopenta[c]pyrrol-2(1H)-yl]propoxy} benzamide hydrochloride and pharmaceutical compositions containing it

TL;DR: In this article, the industrial synthesis process for a benzamide derivative and its use as a medicine has been described, which yields a compound of formula (1) with satisfactory purity from the pharmaceutical point of view and in an effective yield from the industrial view of view, as well as crystalline form I thereof.

Synthesis process, and crystalline form of 4-{3-[cis-hexahydrocyclopenta[c]pyrrol-2(1h)-yl]propoxy}benzamide hydrochloride and its free base as well as the pharmaceutical compositions containing them

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present an X-ray diffraction pattern on powder having diffraction lines as given in the specification, which is used for synthesizing 4-{3]-hexahydrocyclopenta[c]pyrrol-2(1H)-yl]propoxy}benzamide hydrochloride.

The GEN-ERA toolbox: unified and reproducible workflows for research in microbial genomics

TL;DR: The GEN-ERA toolbox can be used to infer completely reproducible comparative genomic and metabolic analyses on prokaryotes and small eukaryotes, and can be useful for other applications, as shown by a case study on Gloeobacterales.
