TL;DR: A model that can offer the students a visual construction site environment based on Building Information Model (BIM) by use of computer technology, which provides students with a practical platform and collaborative learning environment is presented.
Abstract: Construction project course is a highly integrated and practical curriculum in construction management program of Civil Engineering department, in which students should understand comprehensive knowledge relevant to construction sites. However, in the traditional learning process, students are always lack of intuitive awareness and understanding of the practical engineering knowledge for lack of effective experiments or internship opportunities. It is difficult for students to grasp the knowledge learnt from the class. This paper presents a model that can offer the students a visual construction site environment based on Building Information Model (BIM) by use of computer technology, which provides students with a practical platform and collaborative learning environment. By studying and practicing on this platform, students can comprehensively grasp the knowledge learning from the class and enhance their professionalism.

TL;DR: This paper proposes to develop a Construction Engineering Management Integrated-information Cyber-infrastructure (CEMIC) which supports data interoperability between most widely accepted BIM software and ERP software, so that the problem can be solved perfectly in an economical way.
Abstract: Lack of data interoperability between Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software seriously prevents AEC companies from fully utilizing these types of software. To solve this problem, researchers have proved the technological feasibility of creating complex construction engineering information management solutions by integrating functions of BIM and ERP systems. However, these solutions require AEC companies to modify or replace their existing ERP systems, whose cost is generally exorbitant to the end users. Therefore, we propose to develop a Construction Engineering Management Integrated-information Cyber-infrastructure (CEMIC) which supports data interoperability between most widely accepted BIM software and ERP software, so that the problem can be solved perfectly in an economical way. In this paper, we will 1) Present the framework of CEMIC; 2) Expound the technology for creating the construction engineering management integrated-information model, which includes the data extracted from the IFC model and the integration of construction product, schedule, cost, and performance data that can be accessed directly by ERP software; and, 3) Based on the definition of 3D geometry class in IFC, present a technology for creating the full parametric data set that coexists with the full visual data set of 3D geometry in a relational database by analyzing and introducing several Model View Definitions (MVDs).

TL;DR: In this paper, a mathematical model of social cost of bidding is set up through mathematics method to analyze the social cost in construction project bidding and the ways to reduce the Social Cost in Construction Project Bidding.
Abstract: As the perfect effective means that makes social resource reasonable disposition and reduces social production cost and perfects market trade rule. but high social comes into being in the process of bidding. And mathematical model of social cost of bidding is set up through mathematics method to analysis the Social Cost in Construction Project Bidding and the ways to reduce the Social Cost in Construction Project Bidding.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors introduce the characteristics of BIM technology and the impact on project management, and mainly analyzes the application of bIM technology in project management in order to improve the design level of a project and improve the construction efficiency and management level of the project.
Abstract: Large-scale construction projects have occupied a large proportion in China's construction industry. Realizing the life cycle management of construction projects is the goal pursued by project management. The implementation of life-cycle management can more effectively control the various stages of project planning, implementation and operation to achieve the purpose of adding value to the project construction. However, as the scale of the building and the complexity of the building continue to increase, the construction period increases, the number of project participants is large, and the project management of many large projects is difficult to implement. The emergence of BIM technology brings new opportunities for the life cycle management of construction projects. This paper briefly introduces the characteristics of BIM technology and the impact of BIM technology on project management, and it mainly analyzes the application of BIM technology in project management, in order to improve the design level of the project and improve the construction efficiency and management level of the project.
