Correlation of the Cd-to-Te ratio on CdTe surfaces with the surface structure

TL;DR: The experimental data for CdTe surfaces can be explained by a linear dependence of the photoelectron-intensity ratio on the fraction of Cd in the uppermost monatomic layer, which can be correlated with the surface structure, i.e., the corresponding RHEED patterns.
Journal ArticleDOI

The orientation independence of the CdTe-HgTe valence band offset as determined by x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the valence band offset (Delta EV) of the CdTe-HgTe heterojunction for three orientations, (100), (110) and (111)B, using in situ X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Infrared photoluminescence on molecular beam epitaxially grown Hg1-xCdxTe layers

TL;DR: In this paper, the Fourier transform photoluminescence of Hg1-xCdxTe layers with 0.25
Journal ArticleDOI

Photoassisted MBE growth of doped CdTe and CdMnTe thin films and their characterization

TL;DR: In this paper, experimental results obtained on CdTe and CdMnTe thin films grown by photo-assisted molecular beam epitaxy (PAMBE) gave insights in the mechanisms underlying the PAMBE growth process.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Molecular beam epitaxial growth and characterization of (001) Hg1-xCdxTe-HgTe superlattices

TL;DR: In this paper, the molecular beam epitaxially growth of (001) Hg1-xCdxTe-HgTe superlattices has been systematically investigated.
