Stochastic nature of the domain wall depinning in permalloy magnetic nanowires
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explored the stochastic nature of the domain wall depinning in permalloy nanowires using notches of various shapes and depths, and found that small changes in the pinned domain wall profile can affect largely the depinning process.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetic properties and morphology of Ni nanoparticles synthesized in gas phase
TL;DR: In this paper, the size, structure and magnetic properties of Ni nanoparticles fabricated with a free-jet sputtering nanoparticle source were investigated and it was found how the pressure of the inert gas and the diameter of the source nozzle can control the particle size and coercivity in a wide range.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetic properties of sputtered Permalloy/molybdenum multilayers
TL;DR: In this paper, the magnetic properties of sputtered Permalloy (Py: Ni80Fe20)/molybdenum (Mo) multilayer thin films were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Enhanced exchange and reduced magnetization of Gd in an Fe/Gd/Fe trilayer
M. Romera,Miguel A. Muñoz,M. Maicas,J. M. Michalik,J. M. Michalik,J. M. De Teresa,J. M. De Teresa,César Magén,José L. Prieto +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the exchange interaction of Gd adjacent to Fe has been characterized by transport measurements on a double spin valve with a Fe/Gd/Fe trilayer as the middle layer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Selective injection of magnetic domain walls in Permalloy nanostripes
TL;DR: In this article, the conditions that allow the injection and pinning of different magnetic domain walls (DWs) in Permalloy nanostripes with notches of different shapes were explored.
