Mechanical and dynamic mechanical behaviour of novel glass–natural fibre intra-ply woven polyester composites
M. Rajesh,Jeyaraj Pitchaimani +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a novel intra-ply woven fabric polyester composite with glass fibre yarns in one direction and natural fiber yarn in another direction of basket-type woven fabric has been investigated for mechanical and dynamic mechanical characteristics.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of using multiwall carbon nanotube reinforced epoxy adhesive in enhancing glass fiber reinforced polymer composite through cocure manufacturing technique
Journal ArticleDOI
Enhancing strength and stiffness of composite joint through co-cure technique
TL;DR: In this article, the combined effects of co-cure manufacturing technique and multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) reinforcement on shear strength and fundamental natural frequency of single lap joints were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Micro Cellulose Grewia Optiva Fiber-reinforced Polymer Composites: Relationship between Structural and Mechanical Properties
TL;DR: Bio-based composites are getting popular due to its major contribution to the green materials industry application as mentioned in this paper, and green techniques reduce the toxic gas emission, waste generation and improve envi...

Finite element modeling of natural fiber-based hybrid composites
TL;DR: In this paper, a higher-order mathematical model is developed in a finite element framework to obtain the flexural responses of hybrid composites, and the displacement field is based on higher order shear deformation theory with nine degrees of freedom.
