TL;DR: If 90Y-DOTATOC is used with liver NET metastases, the proposed RGS technique is believed to be feasible by injecting an activity that is one third of that commonly used for PET imaging, and this characteristic can be exploited when a radiotracer with a long half-life, such as 90Y, is used.

TL;DR: In this article, the secondary particle production (charged fragments and prompt particles) performed at different beam and energies have been investigated for particle therapy applications, and it has been showed that the hadron beam dose release peak can be spatially correlated with the emission pattern of these secondary particles.
