Changes in oceanic and terrestrial carbon uptake since 1982

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present measurements of δ 13C made at several stations in the Northern and Southern hemispheres over the past decade and find that the large and continuing decrease in CO2 growth starting in 19886 involves increases in both terrestrial and oceanic uptake.
Journal ArticleDOI

An automated system for hydrogen isotope analysis of water

TL;DR: In this paper, an automated inlet system for deuterium/hydrogen isotope analysis of water using on-line reduction to hydrogen was developed, where precise aliquots of water (0.5 to 5 μl) were pipetted into a heated expansion chamber which was connected via a capillary to hot uranium where the water was reduced to uranium oxide, and hydrogen for analysis.
