Journal ArticleDOI
Bis(oxazolines) as chiral ligands in metal-catalyzed asymmetric reactions. Catalytic, asymmetric cyclopropanation of olefins
Journal ArticleDOI
Development of the Copper-Catalyzed Olefin Aziridination Reaction
TL;DR: In this paper, the aziridination of olefins was evaluated and found to be both catalyst and substrate dependent, and it was concluded that the olefin selectivity profile for the reaction is independent of the oxidation state of the copper catalyst employed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Bis(oxazoline)-copper complexes as chiral catalysts for the enantioselective aziridination of olefins
TL;DR: In this article, the copper complexes of bis(oxazolines) have been shown to be efficient catalysts for the asymmetric aziridination of olefins, which is an enantioselective process.
Journal ArticleDOI
Copper-catalyzed aziridination of olefins by (N-(p-toluenesulfonyl)imino)phenyliodinane
TL;DR: In this paper, Mansuy showed that aziridi-nation of a number of olefins can be achieved with (N- (p-toluenesulfonyl)imino)phenyliodinane (PhI=NTs)2 using Fe(II1)- and Mn(II 1)-porphyrins as catlysts.
Journal ArticleDOI
Asymmetric synthesis of chiral organosulfur compounds using N-sulfinyloxazolidinones
TL;DR: A new class of chiral sulfinyl transfer reagents, 4 and 5 (R = aryl, alkyl), which are readily prepared from the oxazolidinones derived from (4R,SS)-norephedrine and (4s)-phenylalanine, which are at least 100 times as reactive as the corresponding menthyl sulfinate esters toward Grignard reagents.
