Organotin(IV) derivatives with 5,7-disubstituted-1,2,4-triazolo (1,5-a)pyrimidine and their cytotoxic activities: The importance of being conformers

TL;DR: The organotin(IV) compounds Me2SnCl2(dbtp) as mentioned in this paper, Me2snCl2dbtp)(1), Me2SNCl2dpttp)2 (2), Et2Ncl2dtp(3), EtNCl2Dpttp(4), NNCl 2dptp(5), nBuCl2nCl2btp(6), nNClCl2p(7), NCl2c2c(8), Ph2NCl(EtOH)2c), Ph
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, properties, antitumor and antibacterial activity of new Pt(II) and Pd(II) complexes with 2,2′-dithiobis(benzothiazole) ligand

TL;DR: The study on intracellular uptake in both MCF-7 and HepG2 cell lines revealed that only platinum of complex 1 is present inside the cells, suggesting a different mode of action of the two compounds.
Journal ArticleDOI

Triorganotin(IV) derivatives of 7-amino-2-(methylthio)[1,2,4]triazolo [1,5-a]pyrimidine-6-carboxylic acid. Synthesis, spectroscopic characterization, in vitro antimicrobial activity and X-ray crystallography

TL;DR: In this article, a trigonal bipyramidal structure with the organic groups on the equatorial plane and the axial positions occupied by a ligand molecule, coordinated to tin through the carboxylate, and a solvent molecule, MeOH, was presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, characterization, crystal structures and in vitro antistaphylococcal activity of organotin(IV) derivatives with 5,7-disubstituted-1,2,4-triazolo(1,5-a)pyrimidine

TL;DR: In vitro antibacterial activities of the synthesized organotin(IV) complexes have been tested against a group of reference pathogen micro-organisms and some of them resulted active with MIC values of 5μg/mL, most of all against staphylococcal strains, which shows their inhibitory effect.
